I want to report here that the pride lioness Topi "Summer" lost her life in the early hours of March 7 in a wildlife-human conflict. According to locals, Summer jumped over a boma which is outside the reserve. She was with another lioness and together they killed two cows, the queen was thrown (luckily the other lioness managed to escape), unfortunately Summer lost her life.
Rest in peace great Queen Summer. A protective mother.
