Loving this series. All of us city folks need to see this because farming life is a lot of time, sacrifice and worrisome many times. Love that the kids pulled together for mom and dad when they needed it. What a brother and son Marcus has turned out to be. Loving the countryside and the characters and the storylines are awesome. I cried for Amelia and the dad
This is my second time watching this. First time I was around Sarah's age and had such a crush on her irish fella on the horse haha! Watching it as an adult (33!!) omg Brian, he's like my 4 year old having a tantrum, wanting it all but not prepared to work for it... not thinking anything through! I'd go mad.... loving Marcus this time round, and Molly is awesome. Sarah grates on me, I swear the actress puts on that posh voice!
If i had Brian as a hubby, i would stick my foot so far up his backside he would be singing soprano. Being upset and angry is one thing, being petty and childish is another.
Only episode 4 of season 1, the cow's dead and the house is up for sale!?! All because she took a part time teaching job? This is just awful & terrible. What the hell is his problem with her part time teaching job????? Goodness gracious! Brian! Brian! Brian!
Strewth I wanna shake Brian. He has a real gem of a wife who's doing what she can to keep his dream alive. Granted she shouldn't have kept the teaching job secret but given his over reaction I can see why she did. I'm only at the part where they are arguing about it, so am sure it'll be resolved as I continue to watch .....
😄😄😄 I like the country too and we had chickens, pigeons, ducks and cats. I love pets and animals in general and enjoy fields of wildflowers but ignore me when you see bees around 😅 I freeze and protect my eyes praying they'd just ignore me too. 🙈 lol
Yup. Character is TOO stupid and self indulgent and ignorant to be quite believable, Wtf is wrong with working until the land pays for itself? Irritating script.
The modern family so frazzled that they look crazy. Running here running there running everywhere and getting nowhere. That's way the wife should stay at home instead of working . Staying at home is a job too.
The son moved there with them to help out. He could've stayed in the city but he chose this. He isn't paying rent or for food , which he'd have to if he stayed in the city. I think it's fair
Honestly it's not a heartwarming show it's an annoying show. All they do is yell at each other. And the husband the worst of all. People and families are not always that annoyed with each other and yelling
He's a simple guy who spent life in a flower shop dreaming big.. wasn't ready for the gigantic wave that washed over him. Not being prepared yet has got to manage can wreak havoc on anybody simple-minded. His better half though believes it's in their hands to make it work and putting enormous efforts to get there plus caring for and solving family members' issues. Tough.
Too much made of a daft, disfunctional family and we are supposed to feel sorry for their foolishness. It's more distressing than a horror film which at least has the protagonists making some valid and sensible decisions.. (like running away) I have waded through three episodes and can't take this lunacy anymore...Any happy ending will be subject to the buggers getting swatted by a meterorite and the insurance paying up so they can go back to a flat in the east end....where they belong.
I've come back to it several times because I need something with no gratuitous violence, but the shouting makes me take long breaks. Doubt if I'll be able to watch much more.
Janet Caterina a drama is more watchable and addicting if there is a lot of drama and negativity, happy dramas don’t do good when it comes to ratings nor entertainment
