    Alas... The Last of Jeeves and Wooster. This series only ran for 4 seasons. But fear not... The two went their ways often to entangle again in different circumstances. And contrary to many silly comments - the two actors are both on the level of "Genius" with most any and every level of evaluation.

    I love eps which tie up loose ends, bring back past characters such as that awful Former Valet, and pair off people such as Spode, whose enamored looks positively make my day. Thanks for posting a somewhat bittersweet and fully hilarious episode.

    The closing scene is marvelous. Something about men running in tailcoats is hilarious. Jeeves runs in a dignified manner. Aunt Agatha slugs the minister and probably blames him for being in the way. Spode is threatening up to the final shot.

    • @davidmellish3295
      @davidmellish3295 6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Phoebe Johnson not a nickname but an abbreviation of Reginald in other words reggie is short for Reginald,a nickname is something that is given to someone by there friends like when Bertie calls. Darcy cheesewrite ‘Stilton ‘ as in Stilton cheese,or Harold winship who’s Florence’s fiancés is called ‘ginger ‘by Bertie .ginger and Stilton are nicknames,reggie is just short for Reginald so not a nickname

    Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!! I laughed my head off! Best therapy ever. This episode and the ones with black-face minstrels have got to be the funniest!! Its such silly goings-on, the sternness of Aunt Agatha, the ridiculous figure of Spode, the two contrasting yet conniving females, all leading to riotously funny situations. Wonderful! Thanks so much!
