Quite a difficult racing game to be honest. You need a fast react to avoid crash and to avoid time (or fuel) wasted. And to adding more challenge, there's a fog or rain that limit your visual that makes you almost can't see anything in front of you.

when you race as the duck on the USA course, the cops refer to the player as "Mister Duckie!"
Love the Trill Drive 3 because the police cars and speaking according to the language of the country they raced at. And also unique sirens from 3 different maps when the player got an accident.
Mr Ducky has the funniest scream during the crash.
I like this game, inspired like Burnout Legends.

Many vary ways of driving skills can be increases on Player's driving techniques inspired/resemblance to burnout series (except boosting and takedowns):
1. Getting air (air time)
2. Avoiding a wrecked rival and traffics (crash escape)
3. Drive behind rival car (tailgate)
4. Drift around the corner (drifting)
5. Drive on the wrong side of the road (oncoming)
6. Near miss (passing close through traffics whilst overtaking at high speed)
You can select 3 different courses (countries) with 3 different situation (weather), each courses has different stores like car wash, burger bar, parts shop, repair factories, and car dealer. Notice that the gas station is the checkpoint. If the player pass through there between the gas line, it will refill (extends) player's fuel (time) and reach the finish line before it reaches 0 (empty/expires).
It's interesting how far it's come. However the whole game feels a bit dialled back compared to the original. The screams seem more cartoony, or sound like someone's had a minor incident as opposed to a horrifying crash. Not to mention the music is no where near as dark and the sky doesn't get darker either. Feels like they were trying to chase after the Burnout games.

But, may I sincerely ask - how did you find that elsewhere? Last year, we only have the original Japanese ones since Video Game Esoterica's public reveal on April Fools Day [actually not] of 2022 (that we can swap/replace the announcers - from Japanese to English respectively, but not the screams during gameplay), now - here we are, it simply exists.
And yes, I can finally feel at peace, except Thrill Drive 2 - still to have lots of debugging by the devs (MAME). Hopefully there'll be any updates in the future of those things to happen.
It's possible to change the options in the test menu with Cheat Engine. I also had come across some codes on a video that do the same thing, although I didn't try them. I'm guessing that there might be a certain button combination needed to change the region in the test menu normally, but I don't know what that button combination is.
@@arronmunroe Yeah, seems pretty interesting to have that accidental discovery to happen, but anyways, you did a solid great job for revealing the "Western English" version of this game.
Hopefully (and fingers-crossed), someone would upload the "hidden secret code" for that exclusive access in the near future.

The female screaming in the original Japanese version was way more effective than the Western release as seen here... Although it does have a more effective male screaming though..... The Japanese version's male scream sounded a little too comedic.

This English version is making me laugh, especially when you've crashed into something. The male screaming sounded funny, but female screaming sounded like an elephant.

THey had thrill drive cabinet in the devs studio to play when making the burnout games, it's legit.

This looks like a take on Burnout. I never saw this game before.
In fact, the entire series of Thrill Drive is pretty much Burnout's inspiration and predecessor, with Criterion even using the former's arcade cabinet during Burnout's development.

There are some obstacles that make you crash no matter how slow you're driving. It's one of the more frustrating aspects of this game.
Hell, I've seen someone come to a complete stop before a pileup and when one of the wrecked cars just touched the player, that counted as a crash!

I Searched What Emission Failure Means.
There Are Reasons That Some Cars Can Fail An Emission Test.
For An Example, If Your Car Has Too Much Or Too Little Gas In The Mixture, It Will Fail The Emission Test.
Or It Can Fail The Emission Test Like, If Your "Check Engine" Lights Goes On As Something Is Wrong With The Car Engine.
TL;DR, If Your Car Fails The Emission Test, It Needs To Be Serviced/Repaired Before You Can Renew Your Registration And Then You Can Legally Drive Your Car Again.

Look up the Thrill Drive 3 Preservation Project. This game doesn't work on the regular version of PCSX2.

I had been able to use Cheat Engine to change the options in the test menu. That said, I also came across some codes that should do the same thing. I saw it on a video for this game, but I don't remember exactly which one it was.

I don't currently have anything like a .pnach cheat I can give you, but I may be able to get around to that sometime in the future.
