V1 was totally the best tripod I've ever owned. It's great to see them innovating on an already amazing design. Is the new one any lighter than the old one?
I just ordered the 1st version last week from adorama for half the price of $75. I knew there was a reason for this one day sale. Haha I will definitely purchase the 2nd version. Thanks for the video.
Omg! This tripod with the remote is the best thing. The shutter release is pretty quick and tripod hangs so many places. Now, I could be part of the family photos, instead of being behind the camera all the time. Not being in any of the photos was the biggest con as a photographer. Not anymore. Thank you bro for being so quick with this video. I could still return the 1st version.
I just got this email today from PGYTECH and I'm really looking at getting it. I just picked up the Panasonic G9 and need a much sturdier handheld tripod for it. Great review as always!
@@dripsetclay2907 for video I tend to shoot at 24 frames per second, I set it to shutter priority. I follow 180° shutter rule (make sure your shutter speed is double your frame rate) I shoot in 4K as well. I'm no expert, there are lots of great informative videos for that camera out there.
How were you able to get the remote connected to your Sony camera? I check all over youtube and I haven't found anyone to do it with this remote. I have a Sony a7c.
Great review as always! I ve just get and trying my R5c with 16/35 but it cant stand...is it too much for this? the two front legs are moving , only when I put thme in the lower level ( full open legs) it stnads... did I missed something? :)
Hi! Is the ball head sturdy? Or is it convenient to buy the tripod without it and buy another ball head? Greetings from Argentina! (Google translate haha)
Purchase Mantispod 2.0 (10% off use code FlytPath11) amzn.to/3g7mDDF
Code doesn't work on Amazon.
I'm also glad it's more of a reasonable price. I do have to say , you've got a lot of trust in the hanging mechanism.
I'm glad they priced 2.0 version at a more affordable price. Great review, and thanks for sharing.

I keep coming back to my mantispod. Just too handy and too easy. That’s the gear I like
That new 1/4" 20 and ball head is such a great improvement
Definitely makes it usable for other things now.
How to you like the remote? I’d be using it with an A7C. I have version 1 and I love it. I’d upgrade for the remote.

Looks dope, not sure I trust it holding a 5K camera rig tho 😮
I'm getting the Insta 360 Ace Pro this summer, wondering what your take would be on me getting this to work with it. Great video! Thanks!

How you liking the G9 I have the same camera, what’s the best settings for video in your opinion?

Can the 2.0 have a lanyard? Its a must!
is that hook metal? cos it looks kinda flimsy and feels like it might break.
Sweet tripod 👍

Its amazing how some reviews are so negative and others totally the opposite. ?😮

Does the remote make a plasticky sound that the camera can pick up? I.e when zooming in or out (pressing button sound)
Another great response, hope you never subscribed 😢
Did they fix the loose wobble you get on the one hinge?
Very interesting update, but how do you pair the remote to a body like the A7III that I have? Is that easy or convoluted?
Easy. Just turn on bluetooth on camera to sync
So the Mantispod 2.0 no longer has extended vlogging mode? (two legs)?
Correct

hi?
do they both handle the same amount of weight?
How did you like your reply?😮
Cool 😎
The new one did lose the pan function though.
how did the old one pan?
@@peTeMelster there was a knob you could loosen to only pan. The ball head would stay the same but you could, or I should say can, pan.

But Swiss Army knife is metal?😮

It worked for me on Amazon but not on the Pgytech wesbite...but works nonetheless. Thanks!
V1 was wobbly and never felt stable in the head. V2 must be worse
Yeah sorry after the disappointment of the first version, I won't be supporting this company going forward
Hmm, I like mine!
