If you like nxde of gidle, listen "oh my god". This sound is so unique and catchy. They just killed that, the lyrics is HOT and SPICY as fuck, the visuals are insane. The interpretation of the lyrics is free but they talks about "SHE" so... you should make a react on this music.

(G)I-Dle is the only self producing Female Group in K-Pop. Three are producers but Soyeon (the rapper) is the main producer.
They recently became the most Perfect All Kill (PAK means no. 1 in all Korean charts) female group in K-Pop History.
Soyeon is named the "Empress of K-Pop" by Rolling Stones Korea.
Their songs are mostly steered towards Empowerment and Society Drawbacks.

Soyeon is also ranked as possibly the best female rapper in k-pop rn (based on sps and ability to freestyle, not just opinion). That gave her extra points toward being named Empress of K-Pop lol

When it comes to Mamamoo I'd recommend their performance on Killing Voice. They perform a medley of some of their songs live, it's a great introdution to the group.
Thanks for the reaction. I would suggest the rock angles of kpop Dreamcatcher. Their songs hit differently. Their main title tracks centering around nightmares, cyber bullying and most recently environmental pollution. Their bsides are also a plus! Highly recommended!

If you like groups which are not afraid to take risks, I would recommend you Mamamoo. They always try a different music genre in every comeback. They have done R&B, ballads, jazz and more. And we're not even talking about her strong vocals 💚

Thank you for your reaction. Love all these groups and they all deserve respect! However, Red Velvet has constantly surprised me and NEVER bored me. Their harmonies and their B-Sides are heaven to listen to. They’re the only group I know of, whose B-Sides are so good they should all be comebacks.
For so many years of kpop I barely listened to girl groups. It was usually 4Minute. NOW I mainly listen to girl groups. They've expanded the concepts and styles so much over the years!

Love your reaction and I have to agree with what you said about Blackpink. I definetly enjoy their lesser known, emotional songs more than their mainstream ones.
I think it'd be cool if you checked some of their more emotional/relatable songs out, like: Hope Not, The Happiest Girl, Tally, Don't Know What To Do, Hard To Love (Rosé's Solo), You Never Know (this one is more about them, rather than being relatable but it's still emotional considering the TONS of hate they got and still get). All of these are without MVs, so if you want to react to these, I'd recommend the Colour Coded Lyrics by Jaeguchi.

For League of Legends worlds competition in 2018. The opening performance was K/DA with the actual singers on stage with the in game characters in an augmented reality performance. It was fantastic. This years opening featured Jackson Wang. I haven't watched it yet though.

If you like BGs and exploring GGs' world then you should definitely check out EVERGLOW's 'FIRST' MV if you haven't already. The energy is a perfect match between what BGs put out and strong women. Also the choreo was made by Ateez's choreographers and it's so powerful.

Thanks for the reaction to some girl groups! Those picks are all amazing! I saw some people recommend my ult group Dreamcatcher, so naturally, I have to plug them as well. They are definitely something you have to experience in the world of k-pop. Only group to consistently incorporate rock elements into all of their title tracks. As others mentioned, they have a seven MV long story arc, two trilogies, and a handful of solo story MVs. I'd personally suggest "Scream", part one of their "Dystopia" trilogy, and "Vision", part two of their ongoing "Apocalypse" trilogy. As mentioned, those trilogies are about anonymous harassment and environmental apathy screwing out planet. They are a great group with great music and even better members. It's incredibly easy to fall for them. They come from a rather interesting background that involves a lot of loss, heartbreak, and redemption on the slimmest of chances. They have a great relationship with their company and staff and an even better relationship with each other. You will very much be watching seven sisters living out their dreams. One of the things people enjoy about the group is the that they are unapologetically themselves. This can and has led to plenty of moment in which they are a little too comfortable and intentionally/unintentionally forget they are idols. They have been dubbed "unfiltered idols" by the fans, and themselves, and the company has shown they are okay with that. One of the most well known Dreamcatcher content creators has even made a series of unfiltered moments of them. It's one of my person favorite. Too funny. Point being, they are INCREDIBLY genuine and sincere in all that they do and feel and their music is dope af. You won't regret checking them out! Thanks again for the girl group love and reactions! The leader soyeon is the one that produce, write and compose all the title tracks. Two other members Yuqi and Minnie also produce/write/compose bsides. Miyeon also wants to start doing it so maybe in the future albums.

I just stumbled upon your channel and this might be late but first, thank you for checking our (G)I-DLE (and K/DA where they are part of).
IDLE is a self-producing group with SOYEON (rapper) as their leader, writer, producer, etc. of most of their songs. Then, 2 more members were added to the "producer line", YUQI (deep voice growl) and MINNIE (soft vocals in pink dress). Recently, their song have been the talk since they literally are breaking the walls of standards and prejudice of the industry, and giving statements that are hot topics not just in Korea just as gender roles and dirty mindsets.
Their main inspiration was Monroe with this image of "dumb blonde", but in reality she is indeed smart. Soyeon's message is "I'd rather be hated for who I really am, than being love for something that I'm not.". At the very end of the MV, you would actually see their credits to Marylyn Monroe and Banksy. This is also a remembrance to an ex-member of theirs who likes Monroe, and it is implied that she is the cartoon character in this MV.
SOYEON also have another purpose for NXDE. Since their name IDLE is similar to AIDEUL which means "children" in Korea, this comeback was actually used to filter and block the searches for "children + nude" (or simply "nude") at least in Korea, avoiding explicit searches by those dirty minded ones.
The amazing part about this is that IDLE debuted May 2018, and K/DA debuted (released) on Nov 2018. That made these girls debut SUCCESSFULLY twice that year alone. It was said that Riot Games (creator of LoL) scouted SOYEON (intro & rapper in NXDE; voiced AKALI, the neon ninja rapper in K/DA), and MIYEON (one facing the press in NXDE; voiced AHRI, the blonde fox-girl in K/DA) before they debuted as a girl group. Soyeon joined talent shows especially rap battles, and Miyeon was a freelance singer (she was actually supposed to debut with BLACKPINK).
This year, they have 2 comebacks and albums along with it "I NEVER DIE" and "I LOVE", with title tracks "TOMBOY" and "NXDE" respectively. These songs gave them 2 PAKs (Perfect All Kill) on charts in Korean within the same year.
