I would totally choose clean, vegan and cruelty free brands who focus on ethics and values over flashy packaging that is them usually thrown away. Ingredients, quality and finish is also key. As we discussed before, Ive used Arbonne products for over 6 years and now have a consultant account because I love it so much. This is a great video, thank you so much for sharing. I do not pay much attention to the packaging, it raises the price of the product. What's inside is important 😉 the ordinary is the best example for that
I think skincare is health, it shouldn’t be fancy and pricey but I personally do get caught into the pretty packaging trap. Makeup is beauty, it’s an accessory not a must like skincare. and I believe if the packaging is pretty it elevates the product, but I agree that what’s inside is important.

The fact that you're not "dogmatic" about anything and you're super inclusive makes content like this even more valuable to me. As far as reccos, some of my favorite clean beauty discoveries so far have been: Westman Atelier Face Trace contour stick, La bouche Rouge bronzer (along with the highlighter, it's just magic) , Kosas contrachroma powder blush (I have olive skin ton similar to yours, maybe a bit darker, and this color is perfect for a natural look), Absolution (a French brand) Le Multi correcteur in 02, and both mascaras from La Bouche Rouge and Ilia (the applicator is great). I have learned so much from you and super grateful for all the love and honesty you put into everything you share with us. Thanks for inspiring me!!

This is a wonderful tutorial and review. I have been curious about Westman Atelier for about a year. A makeup artist showed it to me, I have never seen it on anyone. It looks beautiful on you {of course}. I'm 61 and my skin is so dry during the winter. I am very diligent with good skin care products. Most foundations make my skin look dull. I think I may give this a try to see if I can get some glow. Thank you for your content. You do a great job every video.

I'm in Italy too. Chianti. i.just ordered products from Kiko last night. I've never heard the term "clean" before. Organic, cruelty free and vegan are my choices. What products do you like in Italy? I try to use Italian products as much as possible. Lord knows the economy needs help. 😘

Gorgeous! I love that westman atelier foundation-worth the price to me, bc I reach for it all the time (rather than others on my shelf that will likely expire unfinished.) I love ilia, too, but feel like that lip oil slides right off just like you described their lip mask. RE other clean brands, I love Tower 28, Rituel de Fille, Kjaer Weiss, Victoria Beckham, and Ere Perez. I also love the Sephora brand clean foundation. Thank you for all you do for us! Often times the packaging get's me interested in a product and makes me want to buy it, because.. aesthetics 😃 But at the end of the day all that matters, and the products I will always use, are the once that are great to work with and simply gets the job done. I also believe that it is possible to make simple, sustainable packaging that is very modern and elegant looking ✨💄
Yes Andreea, please tell us more about the best talc-free and clean make up products! I have been doing my own research in 2021 and want to get only clean make up from now on! The cosmetics industry needs to protect us women from all these harmful and possibly cancer causing chemicals! Packaging is important but the product inside is most important! I have wasted so much of my hard earned money on the classic expensive brands and felt so cheated because they were worse or no better than some of the medium price range products! So quality over its packaging!

Whenever I feel sad I just watch one of your videos and suddenly things aren’t that bad anymore. I have been using Lily Lola products for 6 months now and I have to say I really like these. Have helped my skin a lot (I have oily skin with hormonal acne problems). It feels natural and I can do a very minimal but cute look with these. Only sad thing is that they don’t have a light tone bronzer (I’m fair/light skin). Otherwise a wonderful brand. Would really like to know your opinion on this brand. A second good clean brand for me is bareminerals. Wonderful things, a favorite is their blushes. Please keep doing what you are doing. Love love love your work! wish you all the best! 💖💖💖

And let me tell you I’ve tried a lot clean brands but by far the products from La Bouche Rouge are the best regarding the performance and the packaging. I’m a person who wants also the pretty packaging 🤩 And the packaging from La Bouche Rouge is sooo pretty and sustainable 😻

You asked about how we feel about paying more for expensive packaging. If a product is as effective or more effective than a similar product that is encased in expensive packaging, I would rather save money and buy the product in less expensive packaging. I am, however, willing to pay more for a product that is truly exceptional even if it is packaged in a fancy, more expensive package.

I really liked this tutorial. I'm a fan of clean beauty. I live in Italy, and to answer your question on packaging, I'd be more than willing to buy a good makeup even in a non sophisticated packaging. What is important for me is what's inside.

I'm in Italy too. Chianti. i.just ordered products from Kiko last night. I've never heard the term "clean" before. Organic, cruelty free and vegan are my choices. What products do you like in Italy? I try to use Italian products as much as possible. Lord knows the economy needs help. 😘

Just one doubt: does "Clean" brand means also it is "Cruelty Free" (i.e. NOT tested on animals)?? I would like clarity on this, because I try to avoid as much as I can anything that makes unncessary suffering for animals! ♡♡♡
Not all clean beauty brands are cruelty free per sé, but I would say about 80%-90% of them are.

@@AliAndreea I think it's incredible in 2021 that skin products are still tested on animals when the products are for human use!!!!!! We don"t need to inflict cruelty on animals - I'm sure there are plenty of humans that would volunteer to be (dare I say it??) guinea pigs. I love your recommendations and I have a tendency to purchase "clean" products- I am suckered in by the packaging for certain. its this little bit of elegance to even hold these products. BUT THEY ARE SOOO PRICEY. Glad to hear you say its ok to purchase a less expensive item - enjoy your honesty.

Gorgeous! I love that westman atelier foundation-worth the price to me, bc I reach for it all the time (rather than others on my shelf that will likely expire unfinished.) I love ilia, too, but feel like that lip oil slides right off just like you described their lip mask. RE other clean brands, I love Tower 28, Rituel de Fille, Kjaer Weiss, Victoria Beckham, and Ere Perez. I also love the Sephora brand clean foundation. Thank you for all you do for us! I’ve learned so much from you. ❤️
Often times the packaging get's me interested in a product and makes me want to buy it, because.. aesthetics 😃
But at the end of the day all that matters, and the products I will always use, are the once that are great to work with and simply gets the job done. I also believe that it is possible to make simple, sustainable packaging that is very modern and elegant looking ✨💄

Yes Andreea, please tell us more about the best talc-free and clean make up products! I have been doing my own research in 2021 and want to get only clean make up from now on! The cosmetics industry needs to protect us women from all these harmful and possibly cancer causing chemicals! Packaging is important but the product inside is most important! I have wasted so much of my hard earned money on the classic expensive brands and felt so cheated because they were worse or no better than some of the medium price range products! So quality over its packaging!
I thought I wouldn't know any of these clean brands but I actually knew most of them thanks to your previous videos, Andreea! Looking forward to try them!

You should try the FIT GLOW lip serums. the night and tinted ones. they do worth the money
Beautiful! I use several clean brands like Ere Perez (their concealer is amazing, even when I use it as foundation, lol), Honest Beauty, Alima pure (Satin Matte powder foundation is my fave)

I have been using Lily Lola products for 6 months now and I have to say I really like these. Have helped my skin a lot (I have oily skin with hormonal acne problems). It feels natural and I can do a very minimal but cute look with these. Only sad thing is that they don’t have a light tone bronzer (I’m fair/light skin). Otherwise a wonderful brand. Would really like to know your opinion on this brand. A second good clean brand for me is bareminerals. Wonderful things, a favorite is their blushes.

And let me tell you I’ve tried a lot clean brands but by far the products from La Bouche Rouge are the best regarding the performance and the packaging. I’m a person who wants also the pretty packaging 🤩 And the packaging from La Bouche Rouge is sooo pretty and sustainable 😻
Thank you so much for this video! I am all for clean make-up. My favorite brands are, in no particular order: Younique, Beautycounter, Lauren Brooke Cosmetique, 100% Pure. I tried W3LL People mascara and didn't love it. I did like their liquid eyeliner.

Beautiful makeup look! Yes, please share more clean makeup looks. I do like brands that are clean and also help our environment as another follower mentioned below. You asked about how we feel about paying more for expensive packaging. If a product is as effective or more effective than a similar product that is encased in expensive packaging, I would rather save money and buy the product in less expensive packaging. I am, however, willing to pay more for a product that is truly exceptional even if it is packaged in a fancy, more expensive package.

As far as packaging, yes - I would be more inclined to purchase a clean beauty product if their packaging was sustainable/environmental friendly. Also a plus if it looks pretty! I love RMS and how simple their branding is!!
