I believe Broken Armour, Hero of Tsushima, Mongol Commander, Fundoshi, Deadly Rival's Attire and Archery Master's Attire cannot be dyed.
@@snappythesnapster1856deadly rival and archery master are just alternate versions of other armor, and you can get a "fancy fundoshi" if you complete all the hot springs. There's also an alternate iki island type of armor for the mongol commander, but all the alternate stuff is available only in ng+

the fact that it goes even harder with the black dye the only thing I hate is mud getting onto the lower parts of the outfit would've been perfect if it didn't apply to black dye kensei armor smh

The Travellers Attire has always been a personal favorite. Really sells that wandering ronin vibe I strive for in this game. That combined with Ronin hat is perfection to me.
I love wearing the travellers attire with the damaged straw hat and the bandit mask. Looks super cool.
Traveler's attire is one of my default favorites alongside the kensei. I like pairing it with the blindfolds for the whole Zatoichi vibe!

Wearing it with the blindfold in Kurosawa mode is another level of badass

@@brycenklinkowski5721Find yamato the musician in toyotama and listen to his mythical tale about gosaku. Then you'll get the quest of the unbreakable gosaku. Then just go to the farmsteads the musician tells you about and rescue the hostages. By doing that,You'll get a few keys that you need to unlock gosaku's armour

@@brycenklinkowski5721 you have to find a musician i dont remember where exactly so look it up and then you 'll have to liberate a few farmsteads across first two islands. It takes quite some time if you havent explored the map to be able to fast travel around easily.

2nd stage Kensei armour ( black dye ) + Gyozen’s blindfold + Brutal Bandit mask + default sword kit is probably one of the hardest fits I’ve ever made in this game

Hope Suckerpunch makes another sequel of Ghost of Tsushima and made Jin's Ghost Armor as one of the Mythic Tales, a Rogue Samurai who struck fear and nightmares to the Mongols
Gosaku’s armour in black goes insanely hard
I used the Ghost armour with Ryuzos hat alongside a mask you get as a gift from a temple. Perfect combo of mysteriousness and fear
mine is ghost armor with ashen strawhat (from max upgraded ronin attire), looks super badass, all black

Over the game you get gifts that you collect at places such as the Golden Temple.
I didn't know this until stage 3, after you kill Ryuzo and your uncle betrays you. I liberated the temple in that snowy environment and collected the gifts. It's a red demon looking mask that covers your mouth.

@@asblaise0045 Act II. There are 5 duels against ronins around Toyotama. You can find them before talking to the musician but talking to him adds the locations to the map. You can find the musician easily in Umugi Bay (Down left corner of Toyotama). After doing the 5 duels, the boss will duel you in a certain location. After killing him, it will give you the armor in base form and you have to upgrade it twice for it to look like in the video
Gosaku’s armor is overall the best
I used travelers attire in the entirety of the game with the broken hat when first met Ryozu. Since the bow really bothers me, and yes, that's the only reason why... its ability to hide the bow
Use the bomb or dart that way yu can hide it
There’s also an option in the display menu to hide the bow and quiver
Kensei armor also does that and it’s way cooler
Get the Iki island expansion with the directors cut
you can toggle the bow and quiver in setting
Gosaku with the red dye is absolutely God tier.

I put the Kensei level 3 upgrade with the monkey mask and the moss covered wicker hat. Looks like a mangy ole forest samurai, lol.
Honestly the mongol commander looks the best to me. I always like the shiny gladiatorial outfits. Plus the helmet looks dope.

Ghost Armor doesn‘t look special here but you if you wear a different hat and different colour it looks sick
i like it make you feel like a true ghost i often use the headband of death and the emperor tear sword kit with the headband resemble the samurai Jin Sakai die on that beach while the sword kit resemble lord Shimura disapointment (it not accurate but it make me feel like it)
They look good, but kinda won't change the gameplay even though they change your "stats"

I’m surprised nobody ever seems to mention Sarugami, it’s amazing for aggressive players and also is very good for duels
I also liked that very much, one proper defense and your opponent dies in 3 attacks

Hi! Yes, Iki island armor sets didn’t make it due to 60 seconds short limitation. I have a separate short for them and put this info into title to try not to confuse people.

Ghost attire is my go to go
Samurai armor with the Raw Courage dye plus that Sugi's Kasa hat and Tomoe's mask combo was my favorite. Makes Jin tanky with good damage while looking badass. Downside is the combo is focused on melee combat. I always had to switch to Tadayori's armor when I use bow.
I know that combo requires access to Ikki Island.
Gosaku is always my favorite armour (especially the black dye version)

travellers attire is my go to. not because it looks nice but because of the great buff of 30% more land discovered. that thing is pure clutch. when in fight i take another armor anyway

you can repair the broken armor (kinda) if you finish all of the old samurai lady tales (forgot her name) they give you a dye for the samurai clan armor that is exactly the same as the broken armor.
Love Gosaku’s amour, it’s even better in real life🤩 it’s made more perfect in every side just have a look in internet. Symmetric and gorgeous👍🏻👍🏻✨
