You should be so proud of yourself, Joy! What an amazing achievement to have your very own cafe! I was so excited watching this video and feeling like a proud Sydneysider/Australian to know that your time here has been so beneficial for you.
As an update on how we're going, Sydney is currently in week 3 of an intense lockdown :C not as bad as Melbourne when they had their over 100 day lockdown last year though
But on a lighter note, a few months ago I actually visited Aslan Coffee when I was at The Rocks and I mentioned you to the staff during conversation and remembered you ☺️ and they all had very pleasant memories of you ~

I always wanted a store of my own and coffee shop/bakery was always in my mind. I just started training in a shop like that in my hometown(first time) and I am training and most likely will get hired and I'm on day two and I can honestly say that I love that job. I keep looking into things and imagining my own place and I can't wait for that day to come. This is probably one of my favorite videos, you did such a great job and you should be so proud of yourself. Keep up the good work and I wish you the best of luck!

요즘 카페 v-log 라고 올라오는 영상들 중에 마음에 드는 영상이 하나도 없었는데 조이님 영상은 너무 좋아요! 카페가 만만해서 아무것도 모르는채로 창업하는 사람들이 계속 늘어나고 있는 것 같아서 속상했는데 이렇게 커피를 사랑하는 마음이 느껴지는 영상을 보니까 힐링이네요ㅠㅠ 언젠가 꼭 직접 방문해보고 싶어요! 앞으로도 커피를 파는 곳이 아닌 커피를 하는 곳으로 계셔주셨으면 좋겠어요.

I worked in a Cafe before under a team of baristas who won championship in competitions and after watching so many Cafe vlogs from others I felt like yours is closest resemblance to the professional side of making coffee and the way it should be than most out there. What hurts the ears most is when they froth the milk and lots of foamy macro bubbles.

Hello my friend, you finally opened Im so happy for you, the place looks amazing 5⭐ coffe shop. Hey Joy what coffee do you use and how can I buy a bag to try it. I have some friends in Arkansas that roast some amazing coffee, thats what I use, is called ONYX COFFEE LAB, check them out when you get a chance. Also I love your machines what brand are those machines specially the small one that you had at home. I dont know you personally but Im very proud of you, have an amazing day Joy 🇵🇷🥰🇰🇷

Congratulations! I've been wondering, do you actually drink up all the coffee you make when you taste test them? I've noticed in many videos that there is always so much coffee :) Hope I could visit sometime, if I ever come to Korea!

heya ! i'm a barista in england and with the coffee we use it has to come through between 28-36 seconds but when we're setting up and testing it then it can come through a lot quicker or slower and we don't usually drink it because it can taste a lot more acidic or bitter when it's not come through right ! but when it's all set up properly we use the espressos :)

ㅜㅜㅜ제가 3년?4?전부터 호주에서 조이님이 브이로그 올리고 지금 카페차리시는 모습과 저는 특성화고에서 바리스타되기까지의 시간들이 너무 엊그제같고 도움받았던 그 영상하나하나 너무 소중했어요. 시간이 지나고 저도 커피에 대한 경험과 지식,경제적으로도 상승되니 약간 조이님과 같은 위치에 서게 된 것 마냥 기분이 이상해요. 물론 아직 전 한참 모자르지만, 최근엔 책임자여서 연장근무가 많아 휴일이 적지만 시간되면 경기도까지 날라가서 가고싶어요😭😭😭😭

추출방식이 독특하세용
저는 머신에 포터필터 꼽자마자 추출버튼 누르라고배웠눈뎀 아닌가봐여~
배우신게 맞아요 :-) 저도 최대한 바로 누르는 편인데 보통 도구가 준비 안된상태로 추출할경우 3-4초 사이로 빠르게 움직이려고 노력하고있습니다 댓글 감사해요

I'd love to work at a café, tbh. I'm a college student and I was lucky to score my first part time job at a shoe store and since then I haven't had to look around for anything else because they've kept offering me new contracts every time but I would've loved to work at something like this for a while. I love coffee and I love learning all about diff beverages. I already know how nasty people can be because I've worked at shops so that's something I'm already used to lmao.

잘하시는데 추출 때 포터필터 꼽고 바로 추출버튼 누르시고 잔을 끌고오는게 좋은 방법입니다
포터필터 꼽고 잔 가져올 동안 열이 더 가해지거든요 상단부분이 제일먼저 뜨거운 물이 닿아 과추출되는 영역인데 미세하지만 꼽고 바로 츄출 누르고 최소 사오초는 있다가 나오니 그 동안 샷글라스를 갖다대주시는게 좋습니다
