Hey Bill, I've been running a very similiar system - the "HydroFarms Active Aqua Grow Flow 5 gallon system" for years. Great setup - increased my yeilds 2x. #1 tip = Airstone in reservoir
I had mines for a while but never used it until now it work just like a charm just remember to sanitize everything and will have beautiful grow
I see this system in action before. And it supposedly works really good.
I did a series with this bro I actually grew some of the best plants with this there's a trick I do by forcing the pump to suck all the water out after or your gonna get mad roots growing underneath

Probably need to put the suctioned feet on the pump for clearance so the pump works better I find with most pumps..😊

Ive seen a few use the Air cube system , with mixed reviews with leaks & controller issues , its expensive too . Good you have got to test it out & give it a go . You should get some nice size plants from system , hydroton clay pebbles is meant to work best as you need a medium with lots of drainage 😎

that setup is looking sharp - much better than the DWC im putting together now.
Use pot elevators, then support the hoses so they don't sag
This is a good start but if you use foam board insulation under your tent and also use the risers The height difference for the buckets inside the tent would be higher. No need to support the hosees.

If you have a heat gun you can relax the hose some and it doesn't drain by gravity you have a pump to drain them with you can put the brain outside if you want and you could put them on risers if you want
The brain module is pumped out yes, but the buckets are drained into the brain by gravity. I was thinking that putting the pots and the brain all on risers would prob work well. Thanks Bill.

It works great, just don't overthink it. With the right grow media, it is super hard to over water so don't be scared to giv'er..
If you place the pots on risers would that possibly help with the gravity drainage so you can place the control bucket outside of the tent?
Interesting video Bill. Thanks. I grow hydroponics on a 4x4 table. I notice that the reservoir has no air bubbler happening. Don't know if that's a problem or not. I thought it was a must have? Will be curious how things go. Good job on explaining the assembly. 👍

You could flip your tent upside down that way the vent hole would be in the ground but no tray to catch leaks. What are you running for media? What nutes you running?

@grass inclass uses this system.or he did in his last couple of runs.i know that he said it took a sec to dial in,want your roots to stay damp but not waterlogged.

They really need to supply elbows for less stress on the hose.
I built a really nice rdwc system but had to stop using it because I was fighting humidity the entire time.
Could do autos instead of the clones if they're too tall and just raise the pots up to whatever you need to drain it out the vent.

Wow bill to solve ur issues i would get a wooden pallet place under the tent as a whole so u control the hieght of the buckets easier i am so excited u got this it would be a shame if they tell you to mail it back after ur harvest.

I have the Autopots and on 3rd grow and still having issues. Aircubes, is it worth the switch?
I ran the autopots once. I had some issues but they were ok.. This system beats it hands down, imo. Once dialed in, it's so easy and these plants seem to love it.
you can use that system with clay pellets and grow hydro with it.. just clean your pellets well first.. should do wonders for some autos.. set the system up for 15 mins every hour 24/7.. you could grow monsters..
I thought of going with all clay expanded pellets, but they suggested coco and perlite. I will prob run it a couple times with different medias..
@@BillWard420 Well if you do choose to go clay then all the modification i would suggest is dropping an airstone in the reservour to oxygenate it..
