Thanks guys, the most relevant and useful discussion that I could have heard today. I have one Gorrilla Zkittlez Auto, it was a freebie with a 5 pack of photos of the same strain from Barney's farm. I decided to put 3 photos through a long veg and grow the auto alongside them so I got the Auto to around the 3 node mark and germinated the photos. I must say that I have fallen in love with this little Auto, I might as well have ran over it with a truck with the amount of mistakes I made with the poor thing, I transplanted it during the seedling stage, I topped it, I bent it, I overwatered it, underwatered it, SPLIT THE MAIN STEM RIGHT DOWN THE CENTRE 2 WEEKS INTO FLOWER TRYING TO SPLAY THE TOPS OUT 🤣🤣. She started showing pistils at about 7 inches tall and is now 19 inches from soil level and an absolute mutant, 12 inch Colas, about 15 of them. Looks like genetics are a top priority for Autos, as they are with all seeds but so much more so for Autos. I think the thing that is seriously turning me on to autos is the 18 to 24 hour light cycle, eliminates worries of light leakage in flower leading to hermies and other issues plus I live in a temperate climate where 12 hours lights off is a nightmare for much of the year with serious mold and mildew problems unless I am running several appliances simultaneously during the lights off cycle which is both costly and noisy. Autos are starting to pick up a lot of awards, pay for good genetics and you are good. Really looking forward to perpetual growing in just one space which is another great benefit of autos, if you have space in your tent you can start and finish autos is tiny pots
Before I watch this I am going to ask my question... New subscriber, but have learned a lot from the BC scientists you had on. Question: If the plant creates it's own enzymes to help it break down nutrients, would it not be prudent to save a small amount of your soil from the previous grown and mix it in the area of the new seedling? I just have a tap root show, and I have mixed in bit of previous soil to see the result... a long with adding silica later on in its growth (week 2, I think...) One thing about Yellowknife: If you are a golfer, you have to check out the golf course there... the whole thing is a hazard, all sand, with the odd blade of grass, and the "greens" are oiled down sand, where you drag a mat behind you to remove your foot prints. Rule #1, if a Raven takes off with your ball, you don't lose a stroke... oh, bring a BIG can of bug spray, the mosquitoes hunt in packs of a million, they only have a month of warmth up there and been known to take down Caribou (large reindeer) ...
What should become more of a target for people, is getting the product to the correct water activity before putting into the cure container. if this is properly achieved, burping is not needed, as the RH never rises in the container. there is no change in the O2 or CO2 in the cure container with properly dried material. ethylene gas varies and if you want to purge that, it peaks days 12-17. we dont know the exact effects ethylene gas has on medicinal herbs specifically but its fluctuations in their curing containers has been measured.
Absolutely correct. No LST on Autos except for some leaf tucks and minor shaping. That technique has larger plants generally. But Great genetics. You will be happy. I use water only set up in living soil. Easy. Great Terps and THC if you buy the right stuff.
overwatering in coco happens when theres too small of pieces of coco. ideally you should screen your coco to get rid of the fine particles that fill the voids in between the larger pieces of coir.
Enjoyed this episode and a part two would be just as enjoyable. Can never get tired talking or learning about cultivation. Thank you both for your time and efforts

Great episode! Thanks Chris! I’m a beginner also but straight on living soil. And also autos. Trying to get everything dialed in at the moment. Will switch from Mars Hydro to AC Infinity 69 pro, better integration in my Home Assistant. Controlling VPD with humidifier and dehumidifier, works OK so far. DLI not over 45 on a 18/6. Will try to imitate nature by giving in a 1h sunrise/sunset and switch to 20/4, when I have the 69 pro. DLI on a 24/0 and 750W he uses sounds insane to me, but he yields massive. Would have loved to know the numbers of VPD, par and DLI. Maybe in the next episode he’ll have some experience with living soil and drop some more gems. Quality genetics: hard to find these days as a beginner in Europe with no contacts or community. Lots of relabeled white label stuff. Would love to test some real breeders autos.
Debacco University has some of the best cannabis info for growing. They do actual studies in laboratory environments, indoor environments, greenhouse environments with legitimate scientific experiments
Never grow autoflower. And don't trust whatever you hear just because someone said it. ALWAYS CHECK AGAINST OTHER INFO AND NEVER ASSUME ONE PERSON HAS ALL THE ANSWERS. This asian guys IG has ½lb plants but he goes and says his plant has ¹lb dry weight before he even harvesting
Very informative podcast, It was somewhat reassuring, I've been using auto pot, airdome, dry nutrients, only issue I had was air dome air pump was messing with ph at roots, I found adding a airstone to the resvivor to get the ph stable before it reaches the roots is working well, I had done a many autos, say a pack of 5 seeds, try 1, if I like, I grow another, use colonial silver to reverse 1 branch to male and pollenate the rest of plant, last time I had 1000 seeds from 1 seed, S1, 100% female autos.
another great episode. i use the cool cure as well. I love it. Don't cough with the cool cure smoke like I do with the distro. I grow photos, but have tried (and gave up) doing a lot of the same methods he has in the past. i'm interested in using the autopot or some flood table system with living soil on my next grow. Would be nice to get the benefit of organic with the ease of feeding. as others have said in the comments, thanks for not being dismissive as to his way of growing. there is no 'one way' to do it.
I get 6 ft tall half lbs finish buds with some loud azz skunk from Daniel's Heartrock Mountain Farms gear. It's so true know them breeders they do all the research. Killer guest another passionate breeder
Yes they flower whenever they want but let me tell you this do what build a soil does and just put all the food in the soil dry amendments and then let it feed whenever it wants just pH your water and water I've had autoflowers that flowered early I've had autoflowers that flowered late and they were huge so just make sure you got all the food and the soil whatever they need before you even start. I use a 10 gallon pot put all the food in there and I don't have to feed almost until the end of flower
This one will be listed to multiple times cris loved the book I'd like to hear a pod cast on how cultivates there own medicine and how it improves our lifes cus if you didn't grow up around it alot people don't have that they think it's gona make them lose control of life
As a coco salt guy this hit the spot! But now I'm slapping myself for topping and the first few days were ROUGH for my ladies. Hoping they'll get taller than an inch hahaha.
Yes part 2 pls! Autos for me for over a year, with coco loco, dry organics in veg, liquid salts for flower for better control. Avg. Yeild 8 to 14 oz. Per auto. I like Ethos and Humboldt, best terps so far! Cannatrol for drying, grove bags for cure.
Agree with everything he said, glad to hear someone talk about how to make it easy and fun, bc they are and can be. You can really dial them in too for that 🔥.. oh and did they mention genetics being key lol
Scroging is why I use autopots. Used 65 gallons of RO on two plants last run. Ran Front Row and the run cost me $4.60 per part. 65 gallons of solution $13.80
Not gonna lie My first ever grow was autos and I got one almost a p indoor, all huge, I have pictures, I put my heart into it, learned everything, trained and all, had many colas, my biggest one had a bunch of arm length colas, I should have kept doing that and started TH-cam or what not, that was years ago imagine where I would be, I grew after that for awhile mostly photos, but took a break the last few years.
Thanks to Autopotamus for coming onto the podcast today!

now I'm gonna order my autopots.
edit: wow just wow he surpriced me time after time with how he grows 😲😯😮😦
im gonna watch this so many times.
Please part 2,3 and 4! Once again great content 🔥
such a cool guy , he along with Captain Autoflower & Canamotoes were the reason i got my Autopots to run my autos & i too get huge autos now 😎
Weee neeed part 2 holy this the best podcast ❤
This dude is lit. You are too. Inspired from Boston 🤝🏾
In Europe, id try anesia seeds based out of Spain I believe. Really good breeder.
I have a stunted auto right now it's still smelling and looking fire
I’m on my first grow and I love your channel. I popped some bag seeds and I’m looking forward to season two with known genetics lol
@@CBe-ot8vu he makes the rounds in my pouring over my current stage of growth lol! He’s awesome too!
Love this episode, thank you both for a solid listen and watch 🙏
I enjoyed hearing the tips. I would love to see photos of his plants as he talks about them. Now following on IG, thanks for posting the link. Cheers
Great show Chris! I could listen to Linh talk all day
I get 6 ft tall half lbs finish buds with some loud azz skunk from Daniel's Heartrock Mountain Farms gear. It's so true know them breeders they do all the research. Killer guest another passionate breeder
When I was setting up my grow.I made sure I had money for a cannatrol Love it
Fabulous, thanks
Linh you are a true legend! Big love brother
Grow talk is fantastic, really is 🎉thanks
Thank you, Kris 🎉 This is still hard taking all in . I never grew before 🎉😂 I'm doing soil well I'm trying . 😅
This info won't really relate to you. These are autos. They flower whenever they want
This one will be listed to multiple times cris loved the book I'd like to hear a pod cast on how cultivates there own medicine and how it improves our lifes cus if you didn't grow up around it alot people don't have that they think it's gona make them lose control of life
thanks again Chris
Definitely need a part 2. Great info
I'm getting the autopot😊 system from Indoor Gardens on Saturday. In three days and I can't wait
part 2 please and i do the same as your awesome guest does
Good Stuff 👍
Great episode!
Jacks is 4 cents a gallon, so $2.60 for 65 gals.
The way he got his name was fun to hear
Good dude. Thanks Chris, another banger
Another great episode thanks 🙏🏻 let’s grow 🌲🌲
Another banger by mr growit

I just received my order of Stash Blend. I’m excited to see the results.
