I should point out that there is no such thing as 'healing' from the surgery that the 'Lilly' person was talking about. What I mean is that what you are left with after said surgery is just a mutilated penis and an open wound that your body will constantly try to heal (i.e. close the hole). For the rest of your life, you will be forced to either manually keep it open (yes, that means exactly what you think) or you will have to go in several times a year. The thing with pilots is that there actually is a wage gap. It's bot a gender wage gap, it's a seniority wage gap. My dad is a Captain at American Airlines and nakes a very good salary.
The new guys coming in make less than half of what he does, because he's been flying for Anerican for 20 years. The longer you've been there, the more seniority you get, the more pay you get.
So I'm gonna go off on a limb and say that female pilots who get paid less "because of their age" are probably just paid less because they haven't been flying for as long.
