I have been a dedicated vegan all of my life. Eating a diet rich in fruit and vegetables is really good for you. You just have to make sure you take the right supplements. The main supplement I add to my diet is steak. Supplementing a nice vegan dinner with a steak is the key to being healthy.
Beekeeper here, no we don't clip queens wings, that sounds like a lot of work tbh. We do place them in a hive, and its their choice to stay. They almost always will because a beehive is an ideal habitat, and is safe from predators and weather. Honey collection is more complicated than just taking it all; you'll lose a colony if you do that. You need to leave them enough honey to survive off of, but taking the excess keeps the bees working, and the hive active.
yeah, any good beekeeper would only take what the bees don't need, since if you take all the honey, all the bees will die. not a very smart financial move, because sure you'll make a little more money from the slight increase in honey, but what're you gonna do after your bees are dead?
My cousin works in bee-keeping; he'd be mortified by that tool's fallacious statements- he said it's a very difficult job, made harder by the decrease of numbers, both in the industry- & actual bees.

I'm vegetarian and have been for 20 plus years for my own health reasons. But I'd never force my feelings on anyone. My kids have always eaten meat as has my husband. Never would tell them what they should and shouldn't eat. I believe you don't teach kids what to think but you teach them how to think.

Exactly ! My mum was a vegetarian all her life because she hated the taste of meat since childhood. But my brother and I were allowed to eat meat or anything else. We never ate very much meat but we try to buy good quality instead. In the countryside, it's still possible to find excellent meat from grassfed and well cared animals. If everybody eats less meat, it's possible to give the animals a good life before we eat them.
I was a vegan for about four years. I couldn’t even look down at the ground and back up again without getting dizzy. Introducing fish and eggs back into my diet eradicated any problems in less than a month. (Also, I was taking about 10-15 different supplements every morning, they do nothing 😂)
Went vegetarian lost the little muscle mass I had this happened within 2 months started only eating fish as I had next to no protein now I feel better, unless you take every supplement which I'm against unless they are organic it's hard 😂
That's because all but the best supplements are garbage that aren't absorbed and pissed out a few hours later. You need to spend big bucks on the bioavailable, chelated supplements. Or you could just eat steak a few times week. That works too!
A vegan diet is not automatically healthy. If u don't eat enough calories, fiber etc. u gonna have problems. The same goes for every other diet as well. But the vegan diet, done correctly, is extremely healthy for your body. I don't know what u ate tho, but it would be very interesting to know.

I have met a few sane vegans also, but they are far outnumbered by the lunatics. I don't believe that meat is required at every meal. That trucker who hit the vegan was relatively close to me. Used to work nearby and he didn’t stand in front of the truck he jumped in front of it. It’s very common to see protestors try to get drivers to hurt them to delay the transports. This one went badly but it was 100% on the protestor and that poor driver has to live with that for the rest of his life

My toddler son freaks the hell out when you harm a bug, but on other moments he says: "Daddy? We have to kill cows, pigs and chickens to eat their meat!" And when he gets a slice of sausage (for on the bread, but he loves to eat it like that), he looks at the package and says: "Look dad! This meat is from a pig! There also is sausage made of chicken!" Yeah I don't see him becoming a vegan any time soon.
I’m a cattle farmer with my husband. These cows are so well taken care of. They are grass fed, pasture raised and we sell them by the side to local customers so the whole cow gets used. These cows honestly have a better life than a lot of people. Vegans need to start understanding the difference between large companies with mass cattle farming and well raised cattle. If they were more reasonable with the fights they picked I think more people would get on board. But to lump us in with the gross mass farming of livestock that are corralled in small spaces where they eat and poop and then pumped full of antibiotics. There’s a HUGE difference.

I was a vegetarian when I was 15 and then I moved to the country. In the country, I learned that people treat animals so fricken well. They feed and treat the animals better than themselves. Yes, they die at one point, but know they are loved and cared for before. And they probably would’ve died anyways in the wild. I also started noticing nature is savage. Predators kill a lot of different animals and those cows, chickens, what have you could have gone to them much quicker than if they are on the farm. And people who even have chickens have to deal with the raccoons and coyotes and more. My friend had 12 chickens but it’s down to 6 because of raccoons💀

Yeah, and for the wrong reasons too by believing in lies (they put human emotions on an animal, that’s their first mistake- plus animal welfare regulations are very strict in the west, or at least in Europe) and thinking that consuming often imported goods is somehow better for the environment. That the Amazon Rainforest is being burnt down to produce vegan milk replacements, and then shipped on a giant, polluting cargo ship around the world, should be common knowledge instead of facts you have to shock them with.
I raised cows as a kid and yes they are intelligent and have unique personalities. That being said, come harvest season that cow looked damn good on our bbq.
In the wild, animals are eaten by other animals. They need to eat as well. When hunters kill wild animals, their death is quick, the meat is fresh and the animal was free all its life. Why is this an issue for the vegans ? There is nothing more fun than chicken, two of my neighbors have some, they know me when I come with my salad and bread scraps. And those neighbors have them only for the eggs. They always die of old age, lol !
10:25 Arguably, bees are the only animal we 'farm' that consents to being farmed. In order to get honey, bees have to collect pollin from flowers and they can't do that while they're locked in a cage or something similar. If a bee colony is not satisfied with their hive location, they'll just leave because they have the ability to do so.
I'm a farmer, I would argue bees aren't the only ones. My chickens, ducks and Geese all free range/open in the day. When they leave, I collect the eggs, and incubate the numbers I'm going to sell, sell eggs as the rest. If someone says that's child stealing...well...by incubation and brooder, I have 80-95% success rate. These birds when left naturally have about a 2-7% success rate, so a hella lot more live - you can say I'm saving bird babies. Most would die if I left them alone or attract predators that may kill the parents. No wing clipping, live 1/2 hour from the nearest city (city of 2500) Property on a lake. They all return every night and roost, nest and I lock 'em up so the foxes and coyotes, wolves, bears, fishers, cougars, linx don't kill them. Next day, all release again, rinse and repeat. They have the choice to leave every single day, they don't, they come home. In fact, they sometimes bring home some wild cousins because they have it so good - you know those ones cuz they are real small, and fly away. Rest of my birds stare and wonder why.😂 Free food and protection, why you leaving? 🤔🤣
I think that the fact that you cannot have a healthy vegan diet without using supplements is all the information you need to prove that we are not meant to be vegan. For those who have commented, please notice that I said “vegan” I did NOT mention “vegetarian” as I know you can have a healthy vegetarian diet without supplements, the same can not be said for a vegan diet, however.

Had the pleasure of meeting one of the normal vegans the other day at a coffee shop. We played chess, talked a while, & it was a nice experience all around. She brought up how she was vegan & we had a civilized conversation about it even tho we did disagree on some things. I just wish that these loud, annoying, vegans online could sit down & talk to other people like that. They might actually win more people over if they did.
Of course she brought up how she was a vegan, they always do. No normal person feels the need to tell you their diet upon meeting you unless you are the one making their food. I am living on a small Caribbean island and i love to see how kids learn early that the bunny they play with will be on our plate one day.the fish they catch has to be eaten by us or one of our pets, otherwise we dont go fishing again. Vegan tourists have a hard time here, since local people dont believe in that.

I'd rather have bush rat, iguana, conch, wels, lobster ... all those more special and traditional meals on the menu. And for daily food, they do big pots with what the average worker likes to pick up midday, vegan or even vegetarian is extra equipment and work and won't make much money Life isn't about tourism here at the moment

It sounds disgusting, but it actually tastes rly good, just smack it on some bread, and if it's white bread, you can even heat the paste first and then put it on. There is even liver paste with bacon in it

I worked on a turkey farm, my mother in law managed the farm. She raised those turkeys from eggs, treated them like pets. They followed her everywhere. Including to the kill room where she watched each one killed humanely and went home (with a fat turkey for dinner) and slept like a baby. As long as these animals are being treated with kindness and compassion...the rod to the brain at the last moment of their life is fine. Its quick, painless, and theyre generally not aware anything is wrong...their life ends like the Sopranos with a screen that goes...
I will admit after doing 200 chickens in one weekend turned me off of chicken for a couple of months. The smell was just too much. But after the 12 weeks or so, I’m fine.
If a vegan handed me a shotgun and a pig and said "you have to be able to shoot this pig in the head if you ever want to eat meat again" I would stare that vegan in their eyes with am honest to God, smile on my face and end that pig 😂 Mainly for the traumatizing effect it would have on them

My step daughter and her wife and their 9mo baby took my husband, myself and our two daughters out to Texas Roadhouse. We all had steak except my 14yo she only eats chicken and pork but do to texture not veganism. Even the baby ate tiny bites! She is so adorable! But my step daughter got a caesar salad with a filet on top and omg it was so good! I got a sirloin and bbq chicken! I could eat steak everyday lol
If these people knew anything about the production of tofu they wouldn't condone the consumption of it either. I forgot a lot of the details unfortunately, but I heard that to protect and foster this plant that people grow and then process into tofu, farmers have to kill everything in the vicinity. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The extent they'll go to validate their emotions instead of using some rationality and critical thinking to help themselves solve their problems (being vegan being one of many 😂). Far more animals die for meat production, so lesser of two evils. Agriculture is necessary to feed 7 billion humans. Right now, billion of animals dying from amazon being burnt down for cattle farms, potential cures for disease (from undiscovered plant species) native peoples losing their homes, and animal/plant extinction on a massive scale all lost for some big macs.

The anti vegan news has been good recently. Sales of vegan alternatives have stagnated in the UK with sales falling and companies like Beyond Meat announcing a huge drop in profits. Many of these meat alternative products are also not actually that good for you, being over processed and full of additives and high in salt. One restaurant received some flack for abandoning it's vegan menu, but it did it because no one was interested in it. One sad story was the woman who died because of her vegan diet too, she was one of those ultra weird raw vegans.

I have tried some vegan meat replacements a few time. To me they were more like vegetables & potatoes - replacements. They can taste pretty nice for once per year or so, but you need some meat to go with it.
@@MarcelNL I don't rate the meat replacement stuff is just full of rubbish and never as nice as the real thing, plus can't be really expensive. Be better off finding a good veg based recipe like ratatouille or something that will taste decent and natural.

I can't even describe what it tasted like, it was so bizarre- it was obviously bland- entirely lacking that fantastic, complex, gamey taste of duck- yet I couldn't tell you what it tasted like; maybe like a frank, if all the flavour was absent - it wasn't dry, or hard, or burnt- it was just so- so nothing... I've also had the misfortune of eating gluten-free pancakes (again: on special, & I didn't read the package properly) - if you're a coeliac, & gluten-free is needful for you- go for your life, I wish you all the best- but it's definitely not for me...🤢

I've been vegan for a long time mostly because my gf was, and you can perfectly just make your own choices in your kitchen without involving everybody. I stayed with a mostly plant based diet after the break up, because I'm used to what I learned to cook and I enjoy it. Live and let live.
I always love how Vegans say about how many animals we can feed, compared to starving people. Whilst completely ignoring the fact that most animals are fed on the waste products from our food production, such as 60% of the soy crop. Or wheat stalks, barley stems and grass. I was a vegan for about four years. I couldn’t even look down at the ground and back up again without getting dizzy.
Introducing fish and eggs back into my diet eradicated any problems in less than a month.
(Also, I was taking about 10-15 different supplements every morning, they do nothing 😂)
Also, probably realized supplements were costing you an absolute fuck metric ton of money when you could get the nutrients from meat alone.

Went vegetarian lost the little muscle mass I had this happened within 2 months started only eating fish as I had next to no protein now I feel better, unless you take every supplement which I'm against unless they are organic it's hard 😂
That's because all but the best supplements are garbage that aren't absorbed and pissed out a few hours later. You need to spend big bucks on the bioavailable, chelated supplements.

A vegan diet is not automatically healthy. If u don't eat enough calories, fiber etc. u gonna have problems. The same goes for every other diet as well. But the vegan diet, done correctly, is extremely healthy for your body. I don't know what u ate tho, but it would be very interesting to know.

I’m a cattle farmer with my husband. These cows are so well taken care of. They are grass fed, pasture raised and we sell them by the side to local customers so the whole cow gets used. These cows honestly have a better life than a lot of people. Vegans need to start understanding the difference between large companies with mass cattle farming and well raised cattle. If they were more reasonable with the fights they picked I think more people would get on board. But to lump us in with the gross mass farming of livestock that are corralled in small spaces where they eat and poop and then pumped full of antibiotics. There’s a HUGE difference.

I was a vegetarian when I was 15 and then I moved to the country. In the country, I learned that people treat animals so fricken well. They feed and treat the animals better than themselves. Yes, they die at one point, but know they are loved and cared for before. And they probably would’ve died anyways in the wild. I also started noticing nature is savage. Predators kill a lot of different animals and those cows, chickens, what have you could have gone to them much quicker than if they are on the farm. And people who even have chickens have to deal with the raccoons and coyotes and more. My friend had 12 chickens but it’s down to 6 because of raccoons💀

I raised cows as a kid and yes they are intelligent and have unique personalities. That being said, come harvest season that cow looked damn good on our bbq.
In the wild, animals are eaten by other animals. They need to eat as well. When hunters kill wild animals, their death is quick, the meat is fresh and the animal was free all its life. Why is this an issue for the vegans ? There is nothing more fun than chicken, two of my neighbors have some, they know me when I come with my salad and bread scraps. And those neighbors have them only for the eggs. They always die of old age, lol !

Arguably, bees are the only animal we 'farm' that consents to being farmed. In order to get honey, bees have to collect pollin from flowers and they can't do that while they're locked in a cage or something similar. If a bee colony is not satisfied with their hive location, they'll just leave because they have the ability to do so.
I'm a farmer, I would argue bees aren't the only ones. My chickens, ducks and Geese all free range/open in the day. When they leave, I collect the eggs, and incubate the numbers I'm going to sell, sell eggs as the rest. If someone says that's child stealing...well...by incubation and brooder, I have 80-95% success rate. These birds when left naturally have about a 2-7% success rate, so a hella lot more live - you can say I'm saving bird babies. Most would die if I left them alone or attract predators that may kill the parents. No wing clipping, live 1/2 hour from the nearest city (city of 2500) Property on a lake. They all return every night and roost, nest and I lock 'em up so the foxes and coyotes, wolves, bears, fishers, cougars, linx don't kill them. Next day, all release again, rinse and repeat. They have the choice to leave every single day, they don't, they come home. In fact, they sometimes bring home some wild cousins because they have it so good - you know those ones cuz they are real small, and fly away. Rest of my birds stare and wonder why.😂 Free food and protection, why you leaving? 🤔🤣

Had the pleasure of meeting one of the normal vegans the other day at a coffee shop. We played chess, talked a while, & it was a nice experience all around. She brought up how she was vegan & we had a civilized conversation about it even tho we did disagree on some things. I am living on a small Caribbean island and i love to see how kids learn early that the bunny they play with will be on our plate one day.the fish they catch has to be eaten by us or one of our pets, otherwise we dont go fishing again.
Vegan tourists have a hard time here, since local people dont believe in that.

It sounds disgusting, but it actually tastes rly good, just smack it on some bread, and if it's white bread, you can even heat the paste first and then put it on. I worked on a turkey farm, my mother in law managed the farm.
She raised those turkeys from eggs, treated them like pets. They followed her everywhere.
Including to the kill room where she watched each one killed humanely and went home (with a fat turkey for dinner) and slept like a baby.
As long as these animals are being treated with kindness and compassion...the rod to the brain at the last moment of their life is fine. Its quick, painless, and theyre generally not aware anything is wrong...their life ends like the Sopranos with a screen that goes...
I will admit after doing 200 chickens in one weekend turned me off of chicken for a couple of months.
The smell was just too much.
But after the 12 weeks or so, I’m fine.
If a vegan handed me a shotgun and a pig and said "you have to be able to shoot this pig in the head if you ever want to eat meat again"

My step daughter and her wife and their 9mo baby took my husband, myself and our two daughters out to Texas Roadhouse. We all had steak except my 14yo she only eats chicken and pork but do to texture not veganism. Even the baby ate tiny bites! She is so adorable! But my step daughter got a caesar salad with a filet on top and omg it was so good! I got a sirloin and bbq chicken! I could eat steak everyday lol

The anti vegan news has been good recently. Sales of vegan alternatives have stagnated in the UK with sales falling and companies like Beyond Meat announcing a huge drop in profits. Many of these meat alternative products are also not actually that good for you, being over processed and full of additives and high in salt. One restaurant received some flack for abandoning it's vegan menu, but it did it because no one was interested in it. One sad story was the woman who died because of her vegan diet too, she was one of those ultra weird raw vegans.

I have tried some vegan meat replacements a few time.
To me they were more like vegetables & potatoes - replacements.
They can taste pretty nice for once per year or so, but you need some meat to go with it.
@@MarcelNL I don't rate the meat replacement stuff is just full of rubbish and never as nice as the real thing, plus can't be really expensive.
Be better off finding a good veg based recipe like ratatouille or something that will taste decent and natural.

I accidentally bought plant-based duck, once- because I wasn't paying attention & all I saw was 'duck' (which I love).
I can't even describe what it tasted like, it was so bizarre- it was obviously bland- entirely lacking that fantastic, complex, gamey taste of duck- yet I couldn't tell you what it tasted like; maybe like a frank, if all the flavour was absent - it wasn't dry, or hard, or burnt- it was just so- so nothing...
I've also had the misfortune of eating gluten-free pancakes (again: on special, & I didn't read the package properly) - if you're a coeliac, & gluten-free is needful for you- go for your life, I wish you all the best- but it's definitely not for me...🤢

Plus we cook it mainly because it kills bacteria. If what you said is true then we should all have to eat well done steak which we don't I eat it so rare sometimes its still mooing when it comes out.

All plants "scream" its a form of communication, and that is why cerrain frequencies can affect plants in a variety of different ways, plants can tell other plants "hey guys, lets increase/decrease productivity and growth" or for conifers "hey its winter, close up the cones to protect the seeds"

I've been vegan for a long time mostly because my gf was, and you can perfectly just make your own choices in your kitchen without involving everybody. I stayed with a mostly plant based diet after the break up, because I'm used to what I learned to cook and I enjoy it. Live and let live.
I always love how Vegans say about how many animals we can feed, compared to starving people. Whilst completely ignoring the fact that most animals are fed on the waste products from our food production, such as 60% of the soy crop. Or wheat stalks, barley stems and grass. Id love to see how starving people are going to respond if we ship them tons of inedible animal feed.
