I tried following along to this half a year ago but sucked. Probably because I have never tried to harmonize before. I've been practising since then to every song I listen to, and today when I tried it again it was easy. Sooo happy

Oh my goodness, Anna and Mark. This is only the second harmony lesson I have tacked and found it absolutely wonderful and helpful. I am not yet au fait with the lyrics (by myself) but I know the harmony well enough to "improvise". Such a beautiful song too. Great choice for song. Sometimes, I think, music gives healing that happens with or without a care. It tends to be unselfish, in that way, especially when it is of such sacredness as this LC epic.

Amazingly it worked! However it does take some time and effort to master it. I recorded my own melody part and sung the harmony to that but if the melody is too loud it's easy to get side tracked. Also I concentrated on each individual part and then joined the three together. Thanks again.

This reminds me of grade 12 vocals class, except maybe only 5 people knew how to read sheet music... and most were tone deaf... and if I remember correctly, we did a triple harmony. Ahhh... the fun. Anyways, thank you for bringing me back to enjoying harmonies!
