Who are Sarah and Marek!?
Two South African beans who set off on a world venture at probably the worst time ever 😷 Oct 2020. We worked HARD to make our travel dreams come true and enjoyed filming and making videos along the way. GET THIS! Some awesome people from around the globe enjoyed our amateur videos enough to join the crew 🤩 Now we’re hoping to turn this travel and filming thing into our full-time gig! If I could recommend ANYWHERE in South Africa, it’s my uncle’s business! He runs a bike hotel just outside of Cape Town in a town called Grabouw, and the hotel is called Trails End. If you’re interested in a hotel that allows you to go straight out into the trails to run or go cycling then it’s definitely the place to go!

I would love to, but a 17-day round trip costs about € 2403.25 per person. A little over my budget at the moment though.. 😯

Marek - I love your long hair. It suits you.
Sarah - you could make a great deal of money doing Voiceover work. What city is the "Hollywood" of South Africa? It must be Cape Town. The "Lilt" in South African English has just a hint Dutch, which makes it a deliciously rich and throaty sounding accent. And Sarah, your accent is very mild, but still evident. I really think you could get some work, either in your own country, or in the US or the UK. I did it myself for years.

I turned my small old golf into a basic camper. My intention is to travel almost full time, even just around the Garden Route...until I get something more reliable...then I will go a bit further . My family think I am totally nuts, but that's ok with me.

Carolina wow l went to Badplaas Hlumu lodge in 2015 and drove around kruger national park wow that national park is huge

Awesome guys! All the best for your trip. I'll keep an eye out for your videos. So you guys are renting the van for your trip? Is there a time limit as to how long you can rent the van? What is the name of the place where you rented it? It looks fantastic! Clean and kitted out. I saw that you added the costs for your trip to get the van, but not what it'll cost you to rent the van for the 10 days. Could you give an estimate? Interestingly, South Africa is quite a large country and with that the weather patterns and landscapes across the country are pretty diverse. We just happened to start our trip on a rainy day 😅 Luckily the next day was sunny and beautiful! Next video coming soon 😉 Thanks for watching!
