Who are Sarah and Marek!?
Two South African beans who set off on a world venture at probably the worst time ever 😷 Oct 2020. Not Queenstown to live, but you should check out Wanaka, a smaller and much more relaxed version of Queenstown…pretty close too, if you did want to pop over to Qtown occasionally

It may be beautiful but the cold gets to you after a while, save those types of places for vacations!!
You've got a point! Although we are very tempted, I'm not sure we can say that we want to live there permanently 🤔
If you were there when they were replacing the gondola, thats about as quiet as town gets. Its manic other times of the year, a few weeks ago the queue to get through the BP roundabout near the airport went all the way back into town! A combination of commutes, everyone heading to the remarks and milford traffic. Its also a veeeeery transient town, so can be hard to settle around a group of mates.
Its pretty hard to beat the lifestyle of finishing work and 30 mins later youre at the base buildings of a skifield though!
