The licensing contracts for cars are the issues always for these kind of games. The contracts only last a certain amount of years. After that it's the devs decision to renew or make the decision that it's not worth the money.
That's why I LOVE rockstar and grand theft auto. they make their OWN cars and yet their cars look VERY similar to RL cars like say the Bugatti in GTA5. looks about 98% bugatti and 2% mix of another car. and uses a different names. so that's why the ycan never delist there GTA games . maybe music. but they make sooo much money that they can renew it just liek they've been doing GTA4 for hte past 10+ years.

I remember owning and playing Forza Horizon 2. It was my first Horizon game. I'd already fallen in love with Forza Motorsport 4 but, FH2 peaked my interest in the open world series. I played FH2 a whole bunch. Forza Horizon 3 though, that is when I fell in love with the OPEN WORLD series. So, when FH4 was announced and showcased, it was a no brainer for me. I pre ordered the deluxe/premium edition. I sunk well over two thousand hours into it and have a million and one fun and amazing memories of playing it with my friends! I love FH5 but, FH4 will forever hold a place in my heart!

The A for effort just means that you get the grade A for “effort”. It’s not claiming that the word effort has A in it, lol.
This is best time to purchase it, just bought the ultimate edition an hour back and got the 50 DLC along with it. Once you own it there will be no change to it.

This has nothing to do with digital vs physical, it is a store delisting due to license expirations on music and cars within the game. As is the case with a delisting of this kind the user that owns the game will still be able to play as normal (it is not a termination of the game by the publisher that is a different thing). In the case of Horizon it can be played entirely offline already, the only thing you cannot access if servers are offline are the online components. Only thing this does is adhere to the licensors expiration dates and as stated it will not affect new physical users or people that have the game through legal means digitally after the delisting has taken place.
