    Can someone explain me how to put cuff on the arm step by step?
    I couldn’t figure it out from video.

    • @Paramedstore
      @Paramedstore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We recommend putting it on your left arm 2-3 cm (~1 inch) above your elbow. Pay attention to where the cuff's tube is. It should run along the center of your arm. Look for the word "Artery" on the cuff for orientation. Wrap the cuff around your left arm so that you can fit one finger between the cuff and your arm, and attach it with Velcro. And that's all.

    Just got one. This only has military time? No 12 hour format?

    • @EuphoriaPiana
      @EuphoriaPiana 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I have noticed that many blood pressure monitors are like this for some (unknown) reason or another; they are often in Military Time [the 24-hour format], as opposed to Civilian Time {the 12-hour format}, which is much more commonplace and convenient. 🤔🙄

    • @Paramedstore
      @Paramedstore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, this device has a 24-hour time format. This is used to avoid confusion. Agree, this is important in health records. This is also due to the versatility of using the device on any continent and country.

    What does the person symbol mean next to the no sound symbol? It comes on and off while taking my reading.

    • @Paramedstore
      @Paramedstore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is the user icon. Our device can separate the measurements of two people so that they do not get confused.
      The person symbol with "A" - one user, the person symbol with "B" - the second user.
      2:03 - Changing users:
      While the screen is off, press the "SET" button and hold it for more than 3 seconds. You will see a blinking "A" symbol on the screen. Press the "MEM" button. You will see a blinking "B" symbol. Press "SET" to save; then press the "Off" button.

    • @jonathanstivers95
      @jonathanstivers95 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Paramedstore thanks for the response, but that’s not the icon I’m referring to. There’s another person shaped icon with lines around the shoulders. It’s looks like maybe a movement or slumped over indicator but I stay still and as upright as possible while testing.
      This icon will come on and off during testing and then stay on when the results pop up.

    When getting multiple readings, why should we wait 5 minutes (I wait only one) and also remove the cuff?

    • @Paramedstore
      @Paramedstore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is very important not to measure your blood pressure several times in a row without removing the cuff. The intervals between measurements should be at least five minutes. It is important to let the blood vessels return to normal by loosening the cuff or removing it between measurements.
      By the way, we have a video about blood pressure and there we tell you how to measure blood pressure correctly. Video here: th-cam.com/video/RegLQKqhocY/w-d-xo.html

    Hi,
    My device, B22, worked perfectly fine at the beginning, but after some months I tried it and it brings Er4 error on display while messuring blood pressure (it pumps the air, creating a lot of pressure, but then the error message appears and the cuff deflates).
    I've tried several times to adjust the position of the cuff and followed the recommendations of the cuff usage but the error keeps coming back.
    I can't find any error code explanations and resolution online.
    Would you be happy to assist me in this?
    Thanks,
    Andrii

    How do I know if the machine is accurate? For a mechanical scale, pre-weighted weights are used to verify. How do I verify accuracy of blood pressure machine?

    • @Paramedstore
      @Paramedstore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We use precision technology in the manufacture of devices. In addition, our products are FDA approved.
      If you want to check, you can take the device with you to the doctor. And check the device with him (her). The doctor will compare it to his device. Or compare the results obtained with this automatic bp monitor and the sphygmomanometer.

  • @sandywalters4096

    You demonstrate using left arm. I have to use my right arm, does this give an accurate reading?

    • @Paramedstore
      @Paramedstore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Usually, blood pressure is higher in the left arm than in the right arm due to its proximity to the aorta. That's why we are talking about the measurement on the left hand. Ideally, you should measure both arm and over time determine which arm has higher blood pressure and prioritize that arm when measuring blood pressure. Some people have higher blood pressure on the right arm. This is normal.
      If you can only measure on your right arm, that's fine. There is nothing wrong.

    What do the WHO bars on the right hand side of the monitor signify?

    • @Paramedstore
      @Paramedstore  ปีที่แล้ว

      This WHO indicator helps to determine in what range the measured results are. The filled first (lower) part indicates a normal blood pressure, the second (middle) - increased, the third (top) - high.

    What is the difference between user A and user B?

    • @Paramedstore
      @Paramedstore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This function is designed to separate the measurement results of two people.
      That is, if you are using the bp monitor with someone else, then before measuring you need to select your user (for example, A) and start measuring. Then you can see only your results ("mem" button).
      The other person will also need to choose their user (B) to separate their measurements from yours.
      I hope I explained it clearly :)
      If you have any questions write. I'm glad to answer :)

    • @loreshabryan9435
      @loreshabryan9435 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Paramedstore So for example, if a friend and I want to compare our results we just need to select different users so we can effectively identify which result is our own.

      Try enabling the closed caption function. This will give you a "semi-accurate" text of the words. The Closed caption feature can be found at the bottom of the screen. It's a white box with cc in the center of thte box.
