Thanks for the upload! I've known of this film for years and was hoping I'd run into it someday. I was expecting a silent but was pleasantly surprised it's not only a talky but with music and fine audio quality to boot.
1:21 The Jazz Singer of 1927 was the first talkie, but I understand Pickford also reworked the print in the late 30's.
I'd heard that this film had a poor reputation, but actually it's good. I'm very much enjoying this.
very nice old shrew. of a show. scary, harrowing, entertaining and finally the unexpected (for me) shock ending. the spear shaker was the man. its a speakie so no worries about title cards. really a fun film. pickfair pair shine! 3 stars any night of the week. ty @CCC❤

I love these - and Douglas Fairbanks Sr, silents. The Three Musketeers, The Iron Mask. They're wonderful! The original swashbuckler. Mary Pickford is stunning and beautiful. Elizabeth Taylor played the role of Catherine but not sure if Richard Burton was the male lead.
