I'm currently about to finish a software engineering course and starting to look at how I can earn my first $$$. This really helped and I now have an idea how to start and the platforms that can make me achieve this. Great content. 🐝
Wow thank you. I really appreciate the comment, the time to watch the video and most appreciative of providing some value to you. I hope my content helps! Let me know if you have any questions!
PRECISELY. Yeah, that’s the boss level. Even before then you are brushing up against the idea of freelancing and “just running a business”. There isn’t much of a difference there, but when you get into the habit of many engagements that can float subcontractors and multiple people at least 50% of the year, you should consider solidifying the fact that you are running a business.
Hello my name is Jatin i am a first year computer science engineering student currently i have zero knowledge in coding or anything 😢. Here my question is what skill i do so i can start freelancing in, help in getting intership as a fresher and built career in it . Should i start full stack web dev, dsa in c++ or go for dsa in java+
I think you should just get into learning and finding out what you're excited about. Freelancing is hard thing to break into until you have some real solid skills that you can independently run with. You can always try upwork or fiverr and stuff, but the main thing is your knowledge and knowing what you CAN do. I also can't speak to which path to start out in. It's more important to choose something you want to build with that technology that will excite you and push you through the hard parts of learning the language and frameworks. I hope that helps!
The best movie on software dev contracting is the 1998 film Ronin staring Robert DeNero. Bizzarely applicable to devs.
I now have to go watch this…
Excited for you! There is always one contractor like sean beans character. @cody_codes_youtube

@@radi_dev7628 yeah buddy! Thanks for watching
I keep hearing Upwork come up as a consistent and valid entry point for new freelancers. Glad you covered it.
Yeah and the main hurdle is still the same: getting started and proposing bids and making it your goal to land that first one contract.

Great advice! Thanks for sharing your experience. What about starting your own agency? Is that taking the project ownership to the next level?

Sir how much do you earn a year as a software engineer? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.
It greatly depends on the clients I work with. I don’t have a salary, but I’ve been able to make over 200k for the past few years.
Also guide me as a mentor 😊
I'd love to help you in whatever way I can!
Sir do you earn 180k dollars a year as a software engineer in USA? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.
That’s a weird question. Why are you asking? Why asking about that amount?
