Wow! Cardo integrated helmet! This LS2 definately in my buying list! ❤
Maybe I miss heard you, but one can activate Siri with the LS2 Cardo 4X. Just bought the helmet today with the unit pre-installed in the helmet and am able to ask Siri to :”Direct me to Dodgers Stadium” and it will active maps, plot a course, and begin turn by turn Nav. “Siri, volume up (or down,)” and “Siri call Charlotte” work totally hands free with my LS2 Cardo 4X. I haven’t yet found any Siri actions that don’t work with this unit.
I also understood this from natural voice description that digital assistants are part of it.

So, I don't know about Siri, but in mine which I just recieved about a month ago pre-installed on my LS2 Advant X Carbon Modular, it definitely can talk to google which then controls pretty much everything. In fact, I have not learned to use the buttons to do anything except turn it on and connect it to bluetooth because I just tell it to do everything else including listen to TH-cam Music.

im new to cardo and thinking of getting it for myself, brother n missus. when it says connect to 4x riders, is that all 4 at one and have a group conversation or just one at a time, but saves 4 connections(this is what my current V8 unit does). and im not too sure what mesh is, but im assuming that is the group chat setup which... this doesnt have.
You can connect with up to 4 riders at once. Mesh is helpful because if one person drops out of range, they can reconnect back once they get within range.
If i have a LS2 Valiant II and one Advent x , this com system don’t fit in the Valliant since it’s integrated should a buy another model of cardo for my second helmet ?
Yes, you would need a different Cardo unit for the Valiant II.
Does this reconnect as easily as the Paktalk Bold when you are out of range and come back in range to the other riders? I had a Bluetooth Sena and once I got out of range and came back in range to my ridding buddies it would NOT reconnect. We'd have to pull over and reestablish the pairing.
The Cardo 4x does not have mesh capabilities, which means it cannot auto-reconnect.
I’m currently using the Spirit HD on a 2024 Road Glide but cannot talk to my passenger due to the lack of simultaneous music and intercom. Does this do that?
The Cardo 4X is modeled after the Freecom 4X. We have not tested this ourselves. Hopefully it would work better.
Hey siri works with this model,it's even on the sheet that comes with it idk if it differs from the standard 4x or not but it worked for me

Will this fit my ls2 Explorer 701 Carbon Helmet? Unfortunately almost no com-system fits this helmets ;(
This unit will only work for the Advant, Advant X, Strobe II, Stream II, and Infinity II helmet.
i dont completely understand the differences are between this and the cardo packtalk edge, but i see "Live intercom for up to 4 riders" on the details for the 4x and compare the price, is it really worth it to save that little to be connectivity limited to 4 riders? or maybe i understood how this cardo mesh works?
p.s im planning on installing a BT HS for my LS2 advant
The LS2 Cardo 4x has the same specs as the Freecom 4x. No mesh capabilities like the Packtalk Edge.

Do you get any heat issues from the battery/brains stored in the rear of the helmet?
No heat issues from our experience or customers.
2 Hours max for batt life? Can ya run it connected to a power source as it plays music?
Charge time. 13 hours operating.

Yes, this unit has natural voice operation which you can say "Hey Google" or "Hey Siri".
Is the Cardo 4x computable with Waze?
The unit connects with your phone, so it should work to hear GPS.

Unfortunately, you cannot charge while riding.
When will this be available with mesh?
No word from LS2 if there will be another version of this comm unit. Not very likely if I'm being honest.
Works on Valiant helemts?
This unit does not work on the Valiant.

It does not have that feature.
