In April 2020, The Danish Broadcast Corporation (DR) will air a concert called “Agents Are Forever” performed by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra featuring music from spy movies and detective movies.
Featured composers were John Barry, John Williams, Henry Mancini, Michael Giacchino , Lalo Schrifrin, David Arnold/Michael Price, Bernard Herrmann and many more containing music from James Bond/007 Mission Impossible, Sherlock, Homeland, Dick Tracy, Pink Panther and more

Few movies have themes that stand on their own as music. Every single Bond theme meets that bar.

It started with Ennio Morricone and now here I am loving their James Bond themes. If I find they did a rendition of the William Tell Overture I may explode (in a good way).

As usual, percussion tells when to stomp your feet but, bass actually makes you stomp. Also the whole piece diffuses to your soul, as it should. Top notch.
Danish quality always ahead of the rest. Small country great quality.

It's hard for me to judge this, as I'm such a fan of Tina Turner's version. Caroline did a great job filling those massive shoes!
If I had ONE thing to say about it is that their brass was not as bold.
Tina sang the original. Not a version. And it's still miles better than this.
@@polyprinz Tina had a power to her voice that I suspect this singer felt she could not pull off as well. That's no shaming of her; Tina was a powerhouse in her vocals, arguably unrivaled in her style. Sometimes it's best to make it your own rather than try to emulate someone who is just that much more iconic and skilled. Still, a very very good rendition. Love this orchestra!

@@chrismaverick9828 Very good take, there's a reason Tina is a legend and trying to copy her version rather than make it your own is bound to fail. This singer is incredibly talented and I love this version, but Tina is on another planet.
I have got addicted to Danish National Symphony Orchestra and this one too is good. But honestly, Tina Turner is simply unmatchable in this song. This one comes a good second
But watching this live was way better than listening of recording of Tina Turner.
But that may be caused by the awesome orcestra and their impact in person.

@@fadoobaba I agree with you 98% of the time, but there's just something magical about it(anything) being performed by and orchestra in front of a live audience. I've been to a symphony that was playing Beethoven's works and then at the end for the encore, they played the Imperial March and Duel of the Fates from Star Wars!! THAT was one of the very few times I have ever cried! I was so excited by it and it was so unexpected. It is something i'll always remember.

I think "The world is Not Enough" would be better. More in line with the grandiose sounds of an orchestra.

This is really good. Love the way they slow it down just a little bit and the little flourishes really make it. Just a tiny bit of time separation between each instrument stops it feeling cluttered which can happen with a large orchestra. For me this was better than the FSO
