I used pin strip of tape on the throttle for the to line up for the biting point. These things are amazing we have a extreme monster aka fun bikes toxic. My 3yr old is a true scardy cat and proudly admits it. Even the swing set is too scary. But she jumped straight on the quad 5mph mode and asks daily to ride it. I cable tied an old phone with cool speedo thats accurate too. My kids was doing 3mph until i full charged then 4mph. Then my 3yr old on her own tested full speed and stopped safely just as i was about to hit her brakes. Im so proud watching them ride it. I would like to know of any forums for mini Equads and mods remote kill switch is top of my list. Brake light with pressure swith on the metal brake lever. They grab the brake connecting the circuit. Plus a 7 inch light bar from ebay for the front.

I installed three 12v 15a batteries to feed an 800w motor but the width was too much to fit between the foot holders so I had to install the batteries in a T formation putting one in front. I didn't change the axle but I put 15" tires on it. I weigh 185 and with me it goes 17mph.

Go with a 500 watt motor. Can find them for about $30 on eBay. Would still need to make a plate to mount the motor but it'll be easier due to size
