You're welcome. Please beware this was made in XP11.00. In current versions, such as 11.11, batteries only start is a no go. External power (GPU) should be used to avoid hot starts. I hope X-Trident fixes this.
Nicely done! I just purchased this helicopter and have been having some problems. I’m hoping I will be able to fix them soon! Is there a checklist for this helicopter?
I have a question: when the autopilot is on with SAS/ATT it controls the collective when climbing or descending. How do you switch this off if you need manual control of the collective?
I prefer to use 3-axis mode only, but there is a COLL button (between AP2 and CPL) you can also press and disconnects collective. You must then move collective axis to synchronize and this is where things can get really messy. I think “force reverse collective” option reduces chances of over torquing a bit. Also switching AP to standby mode (SBY) does the same, methinks, you still gotta sync, though.
@@helichannel8475 I have tried pressing the COLL button but this does not give me back control of the collective. Turning AP off does not also work. I’m using a Logitech 3D pro joystick. Once autopilot takes control of the collective I have no way getting it back. Shame! It’s a nice helicopter but unusable if I can’t land it.
Couple of generations old i7 and 1050ti and it is also struggling when there is too much weather. I hope it survives until next year, when I intend to upgrade.
It sits on top together with Dreamfoils 407, but 407 is a way less complicated ship to simulate. A great freeware alternative is 429 that uses the same plugin for the systems as 412 and it is being constantly updated. Haven't tried the latest AW139V4 yet.
For this video, engine sounds are "out of the box" standard, as provided by x-trident. However there was a replacement file available on x-plane.org that gives more realistic 412 external audio.
I useThrustmaster T.16000M FCS FLIGHT PACK. I especially like the throttle unit, which is a slider instead of a lever, and you can also assign throttle input to a rotary control for your pinkie. I think it's the best "bang for the buck" short of going for a proper collective such as Maxflightstick, Komodo Simulations ...

I liked your video! I'm a helo guy and you used my FBO that I have in FSEconomy so bonus points!
Wow!! Very nice video. I know how to fly this jewel but watching a well done video in a great "good morning" 👍. I love this airport too.
Thanks! Great instructional video.
Excellent tutorial, thank you!

Spectacular demonstration nicely done subbed and liked.🤙
Very nice video. Amazing work.
Xplane needs a realistic VORTEX RING STATE...you know...just for added fun!😅😆😊😀😁
I think its simulated these days
@@aviate68 it is simulated

Love it very much.
Thank you so much!
Nice video!!! How to download this helicopter? Is there the livery of the carabinieri?

would you make a more-in deep totorial of this? It would be great!

@@nickmaguire5104 Pressing the button is not enough. You have to move your collective slowly across the range to synchronize.
What kind of computer do you use, my computer can't run anything over medium to minimum on the graphics before it starts to get really laggy

Heli Channel thank you
How would you compare this helicopter, in level of detail (Systems/modeling etc) to other x plane helicopter?

How do you get rid of all the GPU and remove before flight shit ?
Yikes!😱 A myriad of gauges!🙈🥃
Hi, do you mind me asking the throttle twist grips for engine 1 and 2 won't move by mouse clicking and drag to increase throttle any idea?
Go to the menu: Plugins/412 and tick "Enable hardware Throttle(s)"
Thank you very much for your help that solved the problem...🤙

This or the dreamfoil 407?
I'd say go for 407 first. It was updated recently and it just works.
I'm guessing it's the 412..way more gauges then the

Agree, stopped watching as I was reading the text and missing what buttons were being turned on/off. Oh well.
