Fantastic, start-up tutorial Fantastic, video Fantastic, editing and clarity. Can I expect a second part, ... preparation and execution of a Bell 407 landing, following the procedures of the original manual? Thanks, it has helped me a lot. Now, I just hope I can make a takeoff, similar to yours, without startles and without beginner accidents. Regards.

Hi and thank you for this really cool video! I would like to know if it is possible to get the "Main Panel Advertisers" via UDP to build a simulator for a Dreamfoil Bell 407 in [X-Plane11. What are the specific DATAREFs? Thanks !
I am not sure I quite understand your question and what kind of UDP plugin are you planning to use. My only experience is using Air Manager plugin for external panels. As for cockpit building, DF 407 is a very good starting point with plenty of custom datarefs. There are even datarefs for circuit breakers. You can check them all, and their respective values, with a free plugin: Data Ref Editor. I hope this helps.
Howdy! Thanks for great video. I am fixed wing mainly IGI for simulation. Familiar with GNS 430. The Helisas system and 430 are not IFR certified. Do they work OK? Do they come with DF 407 or is there an addon? Thanks
I think Seattle pads were fixed in the latest update. Alternative is to edit objects in a 3d software such as AC3D with x-plane plugin installed, but I do not recommend you to go down this path, unless you are already experienced in dealing with 3D obj8 files.
Amazing tutorial!
Great tutorial with excellent video and editing. I now need a '407 in my life.

2-axis HeliSAS-like functionality is included in DF407 and it works quite well.
How did you get news chopper skin for helicopter and how do I make one like that

Awesome and detailed video!!! Does the AP work as it should? Cheers!!.
Why did you roll the throttle to 100% instead of "FLY" like the checklist instructed?
"FLY" detent is not simulated in Dreamfoil's 407 model.
How do you uncage the attitude indicator? It doesn't seem to work - maybe because I'm using this in VR.
By using "Pull to cage", but I have noticed that this works properly only at 100% rotor rpm.
Could you mount the same video tutorial with an AW139 helicopter?
There are currently no plans for AW139. One of the reasons is that I don't have the latest one.
@@helichannel8475 AW139 - it seems to me worth the money I spent. Thanks for your help.
