The Arsenal FC in late 00' & early 10' has a golden team led by captain Cesc Fábregas 🇪🇦, in fact they almost win the Champions in 2006 & they could play the final versus M.United in 2011 but they were eliminated in round of 16 by Barça...and the referees.

The referees denied a clear penalty on Messi and should had sent off Van Persie in the first half for punching Alves. Plus Arsenal did not make a single shot in that second leg, the better team passed

The team was getting too old for Milan, the didnt put in the proper talents from the youth and kept buying older players for high salaries while having a relatively shrinking budget. I guess not a recipe for long term success!
