Great riding Marco! You really show how capable the KLX300r is. I bought one a few months ago, used-in new condition. It is what I could afford. Happy with it. Great to see you and your Dad riding together.
@@209DaddyMack yeah, all you need to do is just transfer the videos from the SD Card to your phone (I use a SD card reader to transfer the files) and then you just need to edit them and you should be good to go.
What bark busters do you have, to protect your hands, how did you install them ? I heard folks saying they had to drill / bore out the handlebar because it isnt hallow...
I have some universal hand guards, you should be able to find them on eBay, they are called something like “Motorcycle Universal Handguards Hand Guards Protector” and I didn’t have to drill or anything like that to install mine...
I have the same bike. The bars are weighted and have about 1/4" hole in the end of them instead of the 3/4". I just drilled it out a bit 5/16" or so and tapped threads in it so it would fit the bolt that came with my hand guards. And didn't use the expanding anchors that came with.
I own a 2020 klx300r and have ridden my entire life. That bike just isn’t heavy. It is pregnant. When you flame out on hill climbs and that bike falls over it is far from a good time. I still have my klx300r but that said I also now own a 2021 xtrainer and love that bike. It is the cats Pajamas.
@@endurox1481 I own one as well brother. At least after you grunt the thing back up on a hill you don't have to kick it to get it going again. I don't miss my 426 when it comes to that.
I got them from eBay, the number plate that I had in this video is from acerbis (don’t get the flo-green, just get the regular green) and the hand guards that I had on this video are from eBay too, they are some generic ones, I don’t remember the name right now, but they broke after a couple of crashes (nothing major) so I would recommend you to try to get some good hand guards from the beginning, right now I got the cycra hand guards and they are awesome and they look super cool.
Love brushy, but haven't been there since 2018. I ride a mint 2003 kdx 220r, and I also have a 2013 still looks brand new 400x. Have you heard of brown mtn? It's close to me where as brushy is now a little over an hour from me. Brown is harder riding, because its really not maintained by the state too well. Anyways keep it up, you are prolly now used to that bike so things will naturally be better for you. Thanks for the videos on it, as searching for reviews for the klx, is how I found you on here.
Awesome! I rode a kdx200 once and it’s crazy how much power they have. I been wanting to go to brown mtn, but it’s closed at the moment, I’ll try to go as soon as they open. Thank you so much for the comment, and I’m glad you liked the video :)
Brushy Mountain Motor Sports Park is a very good place to ride real Enduro, the trails information signs are clear and they have a lot. They have different skill levels. I recommended. Erick the Red
Nice video, well done. Around 24:45 you can see both a red and amber light on the dash, what do they indicate? Did you ever feel like the bike was running too hot in the trails (too lean)? Thx
Hey Steve! I already put a light as you can see on the my profile picture and completely forgot to record it, but I’m sure the process is really similar to most bikes, hope that can help!
A trail bike without lights Wtf Kawasaki ? Its not a track bike where you don't need one its a woods bike where it gets dark fast and without a light your on a timer to get back home before dark . No one wants that . Put a light on it next year or better yet make it dual sport so it can be tagged .
I have some universal hand guards, you should be able to find them on eBay, they are called something like “Motorcycle Universal Handguards Hand Guards Protector”.
I think any trail thats cleared out with some type of dozer is a kids trail . Get off that trail and go through the woods for a while and you will see just how good you have it .
I record this video in July and I learned how to ride in April or May, that’s why me and my dad were mostly doing “kids trails”, but next time I’ll try to only do single track. Thanks for all the comments

They built the Marco Polo ship and sailed it out of the harbor down the street from my house. I pass it everyday on my way to work.
I have the 2021 camo modded out. Great bike
Awesome video good channel
Very cool video!!
Dope video. What computer do you use to edit your videos with? A MacBook?
Thanks man! I use my iPhone and an app called iMovie.

That save at the end was sick !!! Didn't panic and stayed with it ! Love to see it. Love watching ya vids bro !
Thanks dude!
Real brown, clay dirt. Terra firma, must be nice. Those are my dream trails.
24:00 I know that feeling. At 280lbs if it starts to tip over then most of the time there isn't much stopping it lol
😂😂
A lumpy nightmare on 2 wheels. 😄

Did that kx front number plate bolt right on?
Yes it did!
People laugh about how heavy these KLX's are until their little 300 two smoker glances off of a big rock and they smack a tree lol.
😂

@@mudhutproductions My 218 pound XTrainer has electric start. Love that bike. That said the KLX300R is a tractor.
his stalling problem would be a whole different story if he had to kickstart it he would learn not to stall out

great video , but imo i think you should have better access to the front brake than 1 finger , the one finger stuff is for the clutch ! cheers .
Thank you! I think that’s just personal preference, some people have told me that in the past, but idk it just feels right for me.

Nice video, well done. Around 24:45 you can see both a red and amber light on the dash, what do they indicate? Did you ever feel like the bike was running too hot in the trails (too lean)? Thx
the amber is the on switch and the red light is the indicator for it. and mine definitely runs a little lean.
Yeah, thats right! the amber is the on and off bottom (it’s basically the key of the bike) and the red one is the one that tells you that it is on.
You need to learn to stand and squeeze the bike with your legs....you will have more control and absorb more shock!
Are you riding around with the price tag still on it 😂
That's the trail pass there to show up paid to ride there
what kind of hand guards are you using?
Have you taken the bike up on a steep gnarly switchback mountain trail to enjoy that 300 lbs of weight?
Yes I have lol, and I’m not gonna lie to you she is really capable. I only “enjoy” the 280lb of weight when I gotta pick her up lol 🥲
Ktm exc it's almost 250lbs, you have to be weak for making so much of a deal for extra 50lbs lol😂😂😂😂
If you put a light on it will you make a video showing the steps on how to do it ?
Hey Steve! I already put a light as you can see on the my profile picture and completely forgot to record it, but I’m sure the process is really similar to most bikes, hope that can help!
Do you have any idea on the mpg ?
I have done around 50 miles without refueling and I still had a little bit left in the tank, but I’m not sure what the exact number is.
That looks like an awesome place to ride. Where is that??
It’s awesome!! It is in Hickory, North Carolina

What hand guard set do you have?

I bought it on eBay “Acerbis Front Number Plate Fluorescent Green”
Can you do jump on the klx300r
Yes you can
Any videos of that?

It’s a really good bike! where do you ride?
Was the bike 100% stock? If no, what mods were on for this video. Thank you.
Hey Thom, for this video the bike was 100% stock
