My high school teacher was a victim of this. He didn't even know how harmful it was until years later when his daughter was born with heart problems. He remember ed being caked with the stuff and didn't notice the problems. Luckily he and his daughter turned out fine and are still alive to this day.

They did tests to see how much and where the cancer was after he died. And it’s a good thing that they did. My family was worried about my grandmother having enough money to live on. Then, about 6 weeks after his funeral the government sent her a big fat check. It was at that point that she told us all what had happened.

Although I didn't know this until lately, apparently I was exposed to Agents Blue and White as well! 13 surgeries so far, all relatively minor and all on my right foot! Last one was less than two weeks ago. But about 25 years after VN, my right foot came down with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. The first surgeries were more like "whittling" than real surgery, they kept cutting off the green parts of my toe and pulled out the complete toenail. My civilian Doc also supported the local VA and he was the one that ID'd it as AO-related cancer (minor cancer). Cancer tends to spread through the lymph system and there are few lymph nodes in our feet. So, I was blessed. My last one included fusing my entire right big toe with a couple steel plates but, I'm almost walking OK now and see the Doc to hopefully get cleared to drive next week! Again, I'm one of the few lucky ones!!!

Since I was a kid, I noticed that I've had severe dyslexia (Difficulty learning words, memorizing, spelling, and thinking and understanding) However, I never went and got tested (Starting to consider the idea). Finally, after 7 years of fighting very very hard mentally, I'm going to graduate with a Mechanical Engineering degree at Ohio State University. So, if I can do it, you can do it! Hang in there! Also, when I was younger (Less so now) I had bad Asthma (Your airways become inflamed, narrow and produce extra mucus) and it made physical activities hard at times. Recently, my mother died (On 4/17/22...Easter) and my grandmother died (On 4/13/22...mom's side). I took care of both of them for many years (My mom had Multiple Sclerosis). I also lost both grandfathers (On my mothers side two years), my grandmother on my dads side. We've also lost our closest aunt and uncle. So, my family has gone through a lot (I have 4 other siblings). So, when life gets hard and shoves you to the ground, just look up and grab God's hand. You can do anything with his help.

One of the chem plants that produced agent orange was in New Jersey. That chemical company repeatedly dumped bad batches of agent orange into the Passaic River. Today a 10 mile stretch of the river is so heavily contaminated with dioxin it's too dangerous to go near it.
I don't think those were bad batches of agent orange, 2,4,5-T production creates dioxin as a waste product and it was this waste they were dumping into the river. This is also why Agent Orange was so toxic, the companies would not remove the dioxin that contaminated the 2,4,5-T so when the military sprayed it they unknowingly were spraying dioxin as well. Finally did you know 2,4-D is still used as a herbicide today? Look at a bottle of weed killer you have it might actually be listed as an ingredient.

When ever I asked that he cried because he was there, by his fathers death bed.

My grandpa was in the navy. he packed, loaded, and fired the shells filled with agent orange. In 2016 he developed Lung Cancer in the third stage as a result of his long term smoking. He beat it in 2017. then in 2022, after i had come over to my dads, my father had to go over and see him. He had 2-3 days left to live as the cancer that had come back (even though he had one lung) had spread to his liver. And at 11:46 PM on September 4th, 2022, he passed in his sleep surrounded by his kids, and their wives. I only found out through a text that day because i was nervous about him and it being the first day of school the following day. I miss him everyday but i know that he is in a better place now.

They sell 2,4-D herbicide in many country, in France for example it was used to control vegetation along railways. It's active ingredient of many herbicide like the Dicamba, wich cause similar birth defect and malformation in Argentinian farmers baby's, very similar form of defect as Vietnam.

My Uncle got drafted in Vietnam got a Purple Heart and is still alive till this day, pretty sure my mom mentioned He mighta got something called Agent Orange so that’s why I’m here.

They sell 2,4-D herbicide in many country, in France for example it was used to control vegetation along railways. It's active ingredient of many herbicide like the Dicamba, wich cause similar birth defect and malformation in Argentinian farmers baby's, very similar form of defect as Vietnam.
The guy that lives across the street from my mother mixed agent orange and loaded it on the planes. He had several cancers but the government has more than compensated him. He is a pretty wealthy man.

I did 4 tours of duty in Vietnam on U.S. Navy Destroyers doing gunfire support for our ground forces. 20yrs ago I started having urinary problems. Had a VA exam was told Prostate cancer fm Agent Orange. Creeped on my 40yrs after I was discharged. Now I am praying for the Holy Healing Hand of the LORD.
