Oh yes! I would love a series about this, ancient civilisations. It is not like talking about the same periods is getting boring, since there is so much still to discuss anyway, but to be able to hear about stuff people usually don't tackle - the ancient times - is always welcome, and awesome - specially because I have some kind of personal deeply interest on the real ancient times.

The name “Roma” means “place on the flowing river.” It comes from the Etruscan name of the Tiber, which was “Rumon.” But they got that word from Old Italic, and it was related to Greek “Rheo,” which meant “flow.”

I know the Greeks had a bit of influence during early Rome but that was little as compared to the major influence of the advanced Etruscans, it's a fact the Etruscan kings ruled Rome for a long time and build major structures, drains and aqueducts before there was a major confrontation between the two powers

Sofia Lodigiani Actually, Hannibal took power away from the nobility, restored the financial situation back to the level of former times and with the new riches he spereated the harbor into military and trade harbor. Under his period of gouverning Carthage flourished.

What is even more fascinating about the creation of Rome as a city, is that it is linked to the voyage that Aneas took after the sack of Troy, himself and his people fled by boat to the western Mediterranean to look for a new home, and allegedly landed in Carthage, where he broke the heart of a princess there, legend is that she cursed him and all his decedents. Aneas fled Carthage and landed in Latium where his people integrated with the Latin people.
Indeed, Aneas was was a local king and his great, great, great, great ,great, great, great grandson, Romulus, was born and founded the city of Rome.

Having lived in Vietnam, I noticed that upper floors were very hot during the summer, while lower floors were cool. A series about ancient civiliazations would be interesting indeed. I am particularly interested in the Roman monarchy, since so little is known about it.

Well, FREAKING FINALLY - the BEST and most interesting parts about the History of Rome aren't the ones about the "Empire" or even the "Republic", but ABOUT ITS VERY ORIGINS.

I'm completely down for you doing early civilizational stuff
As I'm sure many others are!

I'd like to see that series and I suggest that if you are serious about making it you could do the thing similar to your Roman Armor video where you have an overview video of the timeline and then have links to the videos for specific points in history that you would like to talk about. This will allow you to make the subsequent videos shorter because the introduction has already been and it also allows you to make the subsequent videos in isolation from each other, meaning since you already have a video explaining the timeline you don't have to keep saying on each video "please go back and watch the other videos so you could understand what's going" and instead only have to sometimes tell people to go back and watch the other videos. Just a suggestion and thanks for the videos.

YES! This is interesting :O I would also love it if you could go into some more depth about the life of commoners in Japan. Generally people only talk about the nobles and the warriors, which is fascinating of course, but it is VERY important to understand the commoners if you want to accurately picture a civilization.

YES! ANCIENT STUFF! It would be great to have a video on the Etruscan's or other pre-Roman civilizations and peoples.

I think it's clear that we all love to hear more about ancient and early civilisations. I'm personally very interested to hear more about the Region that would become the centre of the City-States of Babylonia like Uruk and such.
