As someone who has trouble relaxing, this place is nice. Little overpriced, but what isn't nowadays. I still look through our photo album from swimming with the dolphins and it makes me smile. everytime.
We did the private cabana and it was so worth it. We had a waiter who brought our food and drinks to us all day. The seaVenture and Swim with Dolphins is something you should do at least once in your life. We love Discovery Cove.
We watched the Total Eclipse with a group of family and friends from my Mother-in-Law's backyard in our hometown of Fort Worth, Texas; and, what an experience it was! It was truly one of the coolest phenomenons I've ever experienced. My youngest son had given me a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne for my birthday. I had been waiting for the perfect occasion to enjoy it and decided April 8, 2024 was the day! The moment the moon completely covered the sun, we took off our special NASA glasses, toasted each other and looked up to see a spectacle none of us had seen before and none of us will never see again! The last time a Total Eclipse was visible in Texas was in 1878 and the next time it will be seen from here is in 2317! (BTW - Great Video Today! Looked like Discovery Cove was really awesome place to hang out! Thanks for sharing!)
Discovery Cove is my getaway paradise during vacations in the Orlando area. I do love the dolphin experience and swimming with the dolphins. In my opinion it is worth the price once for the interaction unless you intend a more immersive option in the open water. And the park is large enough to accommodate a decent number of visitors yet not get overly crowded so as to spoil a trip. I will have to try the drink package on my next trip, though. Thanks for the video and glad you had a good time.
We always do universal every year but also a day or two off park. Gave my son an option Disney or Discovery Cove and he picked Discovery Cove. :) It’s great.

I live in Cleveland Ohio (Yay Bianca, thanks for checking out NASA) We were in the path for totality and it was absolutely amazing. The birds were chirping like they do at dusk, street lights came on, the temperature dropped and once the sun was fully covered it was safe to look without glasses and it was phenomenal to see! Discovery Cove is so beautiful, thank you for the great video!
We have been to Discovery Cove a few times, coming from Canada it is a day in paradise and well worth the price. I will say though, the waterfalls going into and out of the aviary are very strong (as they keep in the birds in this area). Appreciate your videos 🎉
Yes I've been twice. Both times when my daughters were around 12yrs old. They are now 20 and 30 so it's changed alittle. The alcohol was always included then. We did the dolphin experience both times and bought the Thumb drive with all the pictures and it was well worth it. So relaxing. Loved the sting rays and the lazy river. Love that it is capacity controlled and not over crowded! We had great food and drinks. Then took advantage of the showers and got all dressed up and went to emerils for birthday dinners!
I saw 85% of the eclipse where I live and it was awesome. You really needed the glasses to appreciate it and see it. You could see so much of the moon’s surface. Loved it.

My husband and I LOVE Discovery Cove ❤ We have gone in a rush with family and in the cold two times. Moving to Florida next year and can hardly wait to set aside an opportunity to go in warmer weather without rushing and really soak it all in. So many good memories made with our kids and grandkids. Next time will be a date for just us. Such a peaceful place. Can't wait.

I was in the path of totality in Missouri. Everyone had been talking it up for weeks and honestly I was tired of hearing about it. My manager blocked our schedules so we could go outside and watch. It by far exceeded my expectations! Super cool experience!
I saw the eclipse in totality in Dallas, Texas. Been waiting for years for that moment just for the morning to be completely overcast and dreary. Luckily, by the afternoon the clouds dissipated and we had a spectacularly clear view. The cheering of the city was amazing! The city was dark and lit up like it was nighttime under the radiating sun behind the moon. It couldn't have been any more of a perfect and magical day.
So excited to see this video - what a beautiful park. One of the best memories I have of any time in Disney world was my family leaving Crystal Palace really late, walking back to the exit along a completely deserted main street ... with three security guards walking behind us. Kind of rope drop in reverse 🥰 ... I wonder if you can run a main park on the Discovery Cove model instead of Disney's current model - "Squeeze 'em 'till they pop"

I live in a Dallas suburb (Frisco) so we had 100% coverage. I watched it at my son’s school as a lot of schools made an event out of it. It was an awesome experience.

Loved it so much we went again last summer though opted to not do the dolphin experience a second time but just enjoy our day there. Love this place! So worth it! The reef is…incredible! We booked cabanas both times and the second time they upgraded us to one overlooking the dolphin cove, which was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend this place to visit!

Love Discovery Cove! We really liked the dolphin encounter. I mean technically I guess you somewhat get a swim. They take you for one short ride. It is very expensive for a short time.
To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, we traveled to Discovery Cove in October, which included a 40% discount. Since the dolphin experience was only a little more expensive, we also signed up for that offer. My husband actually did swim with a dolphin, but I was too chicken. He said that was one of the best experiences of his life. For the total eclipse, we just returned from Ohio, where we stayed with family and watched it in their yard. That was another amazing experience as there were winds blowing before the eclipse and a slight drop in temperature. As the sky darkened, we saw Venus close to the sun/moon. The next U.S. total eclipse is scheduled in 20 years, going right through Orlando.
We Love Discovery Cove (I've been there 5 times thus far, we get the Military Discount at Shades of Green). We hope to see you guys one of these times. What I tell people vacationing there is that the price isn't much more than a day at Disney, especially when you add in the "free" food and drink and the controlled smaller crowd.

I am really working on getting my boys down to Discovery Cove! We live in Destin, FL and right now we make an annual pilgrimage to Universal Orlando and LEGOLAND. We watched the partial eclipse from up here in Destin on the Emerald Coast! We got about a 75% view of the eclipse.

I was an animal trainer at Discovery Cove and I worked there for 21 years. It’s always so fun to see people experience it.
So I’m assuming the rays barb has been removed ? My friends were stung at the beach and it was awful !!!

You do get to hold onto the dolphin while the dolphin takes a short swim with you. I loved it but I did want more time for the experience. I loved it!

Hey Dev, we live in southern Illinois and we had total eclipse. I wish I could show you pictures. When you swim with the dolphins, you do get to have the dolphin pull you through the water also. Really cool!
