I would have said Zombified (heavy), but this one is really growing on me.
Ronnie has always had a talent for seamlessly blending genres. I think he’s improved even more over the last couple years of singles. Song is a banger
Aye aye aye! This one's a banger. It seems Falling In Reverse has found their sound with the past 3 singles. While still being better than I can do, their past catalogue never really appealed to me. It seemed too... reminiscent. But the "rap pop core" style they've developed is definitely fun AF. Not to mention the video. Excellent song by an excellent band.🤘
I gotta say I might like it better than Zombified. That 808 and breakdown was fire. I love both of them.

This sounds like a follow up to "Popular Monster" and Ronnie know hows to make a person song relatable and the breakdown of was awesome 🖤🤘 #ayeayeayeeeee
Here is a list of references I found:
-> The tiktok screen thing has #cancelled and #micstand (obviously referencing his famous micstand throw)
-> The tiktok screen scrolls from the last single "Zombified" to this new one
-> The license plate from the car that runs Ronnie over says "CANCELLED"
-> All outfits Ronnie wore in this are from past music videos (for example: First one, the one sitting on the chair, is from "I'm not a vampire", others are from "Drug in me is You" and "Popular Monster" for example. The blonde version, iirc, is from the Coming Home-Album.
-> The Elevator spells out "UR FUK*D" ("youre fucked") right before Ronnie exits it
-> the entire music video is mostly held in blue and pink hues - reference to the background from "Drugs"
-> within the fighting scenes from the breakdown and final chorus, there are scenes from "Kill Bill" referenced, and arguably also "Matrix"

People say the TikTok but is a MGK reference?
@@XScarlyX I can see that reference too, I didn't add it because it is not as clear as the other things that can be fact-checked 100%.
But if we're at it: Ronnie's Voice is significantly lower in the beginning of the second verse compared to the first, to closer resemble MGK's Rap Rock Sound. The moment Ronnie takes the shot ("Killshot, btw, is the diss by Eminem that made MGK leave Rap for a while), the word "Kamikaze" is said - which is another reference to Eminem, who brought out the Album "Kamikaze", which held the Track where Eminem first took a few Jabs at MGK. Also, the outfit etc does still fit Ronnie's Coming Home Time - but it also very closely fits to MGK's look. So, basically, this reference can't be factchecked as of yet, but it's an absolutely godlike one, because it is so interpretative. It's legit on the level of a good battle rapper - and that's super fucking impressive.
i swear when his voice gets pitched down, and that sort of trap beat drops in, that it's a reference to CORPSE. Cause the vocals are super deep and a ton of vocal fry is present, something corpse is known for, and it has a very soundcloud rapper style, of which corpse is part of that subgenre.
@@ExarchGaming By now, Ronnie himself answered questions about that scene and said that the blonde self and deeper voice were part of his Coming-Home Phase. I don't think they are deep enough to resemble CORPSE, so that's a stretch imo.
@@Cortrakx3 i mean he's using doubles in this constantly so I don't think it's THAT big of a stretch, it's like the MGK thing, it's almost certainly a reference to him, with the killshot scope, the appearance, and the mention of kamikaze, all are references to Eminem.
With him being a twitch streamer now too, I couldn't help but wonder. I think Knox is the one that brought it up originally and I was like yeah I def see it.

He has no beef with MGK..so I doubt it. I have even heard him say on his Twitch that MGK doesn't deserve so much hate.
@@kathleenclark815 don't need beef to throw him in there as someone to shoot lol. Plus I just noticed that was right as he said "kamikaze crashing like a suicide" right as he shot him, that was 100000% an intentional reference. He probably had the song written without that intent, but while shooting the video and doing all these different versions of himself he just figured it'd be funny to have one be MGK and get sniped right then.

Aye aye aye. Ronnie is just so damn talented, he can mix in elements of every genre without it sounding weird and experimental, or out of place. I didn't like this or Zombified as much as I liked Drugs and Popular Monster, probably because they just aren't as dark and heavy (and I tend to gravitate toward dark and heavy). But still, it seems like anything he writes just ends up very listenable

Aye aye aye, Zombified! But this song the way that the voices in his head. He just keeps repeating it over and over again and it doesn't stop. It's really adds to the feeling that the voice is in his head. Never stop. It's sick. 🤘🏽👍🏾
As much as I loved Zombified, I think I enjoyed this a lot more. Ronnie really does keep getting better after each song.

All the people talking about "Voices in my head" and "Zombified". It's funny that all of us who listen to metal no longer provoke anything from these types of videos, but shit i love these kind of videos and the song is just indestructible i fucking love it. I really hope Falling in Reverse lasts us at least 40 more years, it is one of those bands that has remained standing and continues to cause so much satisfaction like damn 🖤🤘🏼

A lot of their breakdowns are in drop D, but dropped an octave. So double drop D is what Ronnie calls it lol.

I think Ronnie is 2nd in lyrical talents only to Oli Sykes and BMTH. I really enjoyed this track myself.

I like this one better than zombified, but popular monster takes the cake for me. It flows so well and the chorus is so powerful. Zombified and this one seem like more of a jumble of parts that don't fit together as well for me. This one's definitely better than zombiefied though.
Other than the drug in me is reimagined, haven't really found any other song that I like from these guys yet
The fact that their discography is as diverse as it is, even in recent years - you not liking any of it leaves me wondering what you listen to then.

Being that it's ronnie, It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't care about people's pros and cons. He makes it pretty clear he doesn't care what people think.
Am I the only one that got a Corpse Husband vibe at like 4:15? even the beat that started was almost like an easter egg style of thing.
I don't really agree with it being like Drugs and Zombified in that aspect. It has a different beat and it's about really different stuff, especially with Zombified.
Zombified does kind of have the background structure, but to me anyway it doesn't feel like it.
I'll go with the Aye Aye Aye meaning over Ayayay lol

Crazy that so many people are missing the fact that Ronny is dissing mgk, with the way he is singing like mgk at that particular point in the song, then the mgk version (he’s also dressed very similar to mgk) of Ronnie gets shot (killshot, get it?) and also he said “kamikaze” referring to mgk’s beef with Eminem, almost nobody had noticed this but it was one of the first things I noticed 😂
