It's a good price but, because there's always a but... It's near Nimman. If you like Nimman and that vibe OK, but if you don't... I spent time in Suk Kasem, I hated it after 3 weeks. It's right next to Canal Rd. Do you hear the traffic when inside? Do you smell the traffic when on your balcony? When does it quieten down at night? A pool is great, but if it's sunny you're going to burn because it's not covered. I'm guessing use is limited to before 7:30 am and after 6 pm. The view of the mountain is great, but spoilt by the buildings in front of it. I know it's down to personal tastes, I'm older than you and a country boy so the location, more specifically what's been built around it, is not to my taste. On the plus side, it's hard to find that size condo at that price so a big thumbs up on that. I'd suggest it's an ideal place to rent if you're new to the city and want an inexpensive base from which to find you're ideal location, or if you are studying at CMU. My biggest negative is the traffic in the area, I detest driving anywhere close to Nimman in the area because the daytime traffic is always manic, but each to their own.
Great video! Great apartment find! But the Elephant in the Room: What are the UNDERLYING reasons that this great-value building is mostly empty? Is it Burning Season? Is it Thai Visa Uncertainty? Is it cultural bias in Asia against older buildings? Or...? We do not know because we are not onsite - you are, so tell us please...
Was your water npower separate? I've been looking at their rental houses their are communal pools n gym worth outlook of the mountains for around 298 to 578. I'm excited to come there on education visa to learn language and culture first .
I p;lan on being here long term so I checked this place out right after seeing your video. Sadly, there is nothing available...too bad, I could live here for months on end.
That place is great. I'm renting a 10K baht motel 6 type in Old City. Just put a deposit on a bigger place also for 10K but no view. Do they still have vacancy and do they have contracts or is it month to month?
really good price, just before you don't want to live anywhere else for that price, you're too good in chiang mai, it's been a long time since you've done anything
You mean like an oversupply of housing? Your comment makes absolutely 0 sense without the additional context of the overall condo occupancy rate in that portion of the city. Did you look that up? Doubting you did - but maybe?

This is amazing! I'm ready to move today

Water and power are always separate when renting a condo/serviced apartment in Thailand.
This will be the first place i try to rent. Is this a short term or long term price? Thanks for sharing!
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF YOU SHOWED ALL OF THE BATHROOM. WE COULDN'T TELL IF THERE'S A BATHTUB, OR A SHOWER.
I'm guessing you'll need a car or a scooter to get around. Or is there public transportation available there.
Nice to see you again! Cheers from Texas. I miss CM
is this still available now
Is there a gym?

Super good deal! I know that place as I sometimes ate Tiramisu & drank coffee outside at the small place in front.

really good price, just before you don't want to live anywhere else for that price, you're too good in chiang mai, it's been a long time since you've done anything

Low cost, few renters= something really wrong
Nah, over saturation of
condos / accommodation... I wouldn't pay these prices.. Can easy get a nice condo $150-$200 / month..
*Crap Game* 🎉
