You're not supposed to be far away, but you're not also not supposed to beat anyone close range either. It's just a lose lose no matter what you do as a scout

Insane accuracy as always. Do you have the back to basics playlist on PC right now? I play on console so I don’t know how it works on PC haha
So lately I've been watching you in 50% playback when you're shooting fast 75% when you're just moving thru. Slowing it down has helped a lot on seeing how you read the map, how you aim either with body movement or gun. Good stuff I've learned much more that way. Also, with the accent you come across drunk at those speeds and slurry hahaha. Added bonus.
My best rifle is the martini Henry with 500 kills, but I always use a ton of different guns, 300 kills with m1903, 200 with Enfield silenced, and almost 100 with ever other rifle in the scout class, plus I only get to play like a few hours total every week

I can relate. I have 84 hrs and almost 13k kills on Gewehr 95 infantry. I used it when there was still hardcore lobbies on PS4.

Totally agree on the pc/console split. As a console player myself it is obviously much harder to hit those crucial headshots.

awesome video again ... btw i switched back to console in the last two days (just to play with my old friends ) and i was shocked from the amount of headshots that i got with the SMLE carbine . the aim assist is overkill if you have good aim

For Me pc and console are really different but same game ^^ very nice yo play un BF1
Got 300+ with the SMLE and 13k kills. Not great but it was my first gun I stuck with,and my first BF since 1942.
I have the most service starts with the G98 but i rarely get sweet spot kills with it because of how aggressive i play.
okay so if you don't use 8x scope then what X do you use? Just for curiosity sake. Personally I mostly use 5x on snipers because I trained myself with the 4x marksman stuff and the bigger zoom scopes were hard to manage at the time. Now it's just what I'm used to.

I got about 3,8k kills with 95 marksman. I like that one a lot.

man, this is more realistic than BF4. Even an AA can't shoot down an aircraft within a magazine. I'm enjoying playing BF4 but still hate the map with those aircrafts.

The first time I have ever heard someone agree that a PC and Console version of BF1 is different. I have never played PC and admire your skill as I could never do it. However I consider myself a decent console sniper but there is no way we can snap around as quick as you can for headshots!

imagine if player class spawns were handled like vehicle spawns. 10 snipers can be spawned at a time etc.
My longest shot with a non sniper is with the tank hunter landship, I sniped a sentry who was at the b flag from the f flag on Sinai desert not sure how long that is but🤷♂️

Sweet spot is a problem on console. It should be removed. Headshots are hard but it comes with practice, I didn't spend 50 hours using the same sniper so I can nail running headshots for some guy to oneshot me cause of sweet spot.
Oh and btw Marksman and Sniper variants don't have aim assist.

I was playing on Ps4 this last weekend and i got killed by someone with a peacemaker. I looked it up and realized this guy must've been someone crazy good...
best scout weapon is SMLE by a mile.. as long as your keeping it midrange max.. 10 shots; quicker movement.. 1 hit kill machine!
You made me feel a little good when you said hitting headshots on console is hard because I do it quite easily and I like to consider myself a pretty good sniper on console.

it is damn hard to pull off consecutive headshots on console, i play console and i am not bothered by the sweet spot and i cannot think of many players that actively think about the distance maybe cos so many of us are playing battlefield years and rely on the headshot like in older games, maybe why it is so satisfying getting that kill on older games although i was playing last night and quick scoped a guy that was prob 2 feet away in the head, talk about leading your targets hahahahaha
