I love it but the muzzle velocity feels relatively slow by bf1 standards. It feels somewhere around the m95. Anyone know what round the Ross was chambered for IRL?
It was a .280 ross a round specifically made for the gun

The Ross Is one of my new favs...great rifle !
For anyone that doesn't know, the Ross is a carbon copy of the SMLE in regard to sweet spot and bullet velocity/drag. It's basically an SMLE with half the mag capacity, slightly faster ROF, and a straight pull bolt. It's a damn good rifle imo. Aside from the ammo capacity, I basically see no real reason to use the SMLE anymore.

That "dancing" glitch seems to happen more often now than it used to. Sometimes even two times a round, compared to once every 2-3 rounds like before.

This gun feels so crispy. You can play aggressive and it’s fast and snappy like gewehr 95 with a sweet spot
I love this gun man, but also you don’t have to zoom out to pull back the bolt which makes it that much better

I think you can get rid of the wobble bug by getting on a cannon or machine gun placement, or getting in a vehicle

Hi Stodeh! what zeroing distance do you usually use with Ross MkIII? 75 meters?
No need to exit scope between shots with this rifle.

Urix9999 it became a habit because most of scoped scout rifles need this.
Also you get a better view and you're more mobile. Keeping the aim down is a newbie level
i only stay ADS'd when i need a quick follow up shot and i know im safe. otherwise it makes sense to unscope quickly to re-acquire the target/check ur surroundings
All sniper riftles need this so it a habit. Btw it's good. I won't cause you trouble when you will use other sniper riftles
unlocked the ross rifle and it is a beast but the unlock requirements were way to easy i think

I like this gun over the SMLE from the sound alone. The higher fire rate and quick reload are just icing on the cake

Why didn't they fire the livens project on A.? The rifle is good although it seems buggy with some shots not registering damage but getting hit markers. On the plus side it is great for shooting out pilots. Just the right velocity .
Wow... amazing skill. I’m still at the noob stage.. havnt had the game long. I’m trying to stop over aiming at the moment, the sight is swinging left to right and I’m dead before I can stabilise it all...
What is your magnifications on marksman variants?

The 95 has always been obsolete due to no sweet spot.

Sumsero I can, it's just two weapons that are virtually identical but one can OHK on body shot and one can't, the one that can has a mechanic that makes it inherently better.
Aka, the M95 and Carcano are objectively the worst single action rifles in the game.
@SaddisticSpeller But therefore it has an insane ROF. I like the Gewehr M.95 Carbine and Infantry very much. But I agree that for longer distances the Ross MK3 Marksman might be the better choice.
BTW: The Carcano Carbine is also a good alternative for the Gewehr M. 95.

But I prefer playing battlefield 1 on PC because a mouse is way more precisely (If you don't have potato aim) I would like to know why you prefer the controller, slower sluggish, aim assisted gameplay? you're a demon sniper and lightening fast on the draw, but you should show more whole games. Maybe super long lulls in action edited, but the ebb and flow of the struggle builds suspense, creates climaxes. Just sayin....

actually, the m.95 has something which no other sniper rifle has and whats almost better than a sweetspot:
it has a 0.93 forearm and leg damage Multiplier, not the 0.75 Multiplier of the other Scout guns. meaning: you will almost always get, no matter how bad you hit, at least gaining a "Counts as kill", because you give more than 75 damage. exept you hit the legs/ forearms at a very Long range.And of Course does this mean that opponents does have to be less pre-damaged to get one-hittet.

Ive gotten 11 head shots that didnt give a kill or hit marker. That was about 4 games and totalled roughly 11 denied headshot kills. Id like to sue dice I need help though. No money is necessary,but your time and effort would be appreciated. The games we receive now are broken in a blatant manner and its time to refund us. They said this game was a dime and here I am asking for every fucking penny back. They cant keep getting away with this shit. Im just asking for honest expression meaning if they release a game that is 70 dollars it should fuckin ne finished. I dont need to kill 80 ppl during a match I just need to have that as a tangible option. Cant do it though cuz the game decides to make bullets disappear at random. You cant shoot a bullet in between a fucking set of tree branches no matter how far apart the branches are? It literally makes an invisible wall that eats your bullets. It could be so open that the branches make a Y shaped gap and you cant see the branches when scoped out but you guessed it, thats right the bullets go nowhere fast my good folks. You can shoot thru pine trees all though.....sooo wtf. Roll of the dice is the perfect name of a company that takes your money and gives you no promise of a fair functional game. This game is a piece of craps and its snake eyes every time you roll. A small monkey with a key board and entry level game programming knowledge could make a series of games better than this soulless garbage ass trash. Theyve had a record breaking amount of glitch reports and they have fixed 12 percent of the 230 complaints by my calculations because this what they do. They arent concerned with making us record breaking games, they want us to remain distracted is the ultimate goal. Hence the reason that bf 1 just like all other games will never be worth a fuck for about another 3 years but youll never see a finished product cuz you want the new game. The world does quantity over quality and so we have the definition of Merica. Pure shit with no sine of improvements ever. Until I begin to fix the problems as usual. They never make a game good or dare I say perfect before the next piece of this is spoon fed to you fuckin clowns. Learn to speak up and stand your ground to create change in this insane same shit same day paradox we live in. Nut up or shut up. If you realize the power/pull/authority we have since we pay their bills and support their lives and dreams, we could altogether effectively create real change within this multi-billion dollar a year industry. We simply give their games an F by not buying them short of perfection or at least close to said perfection. Once they get the message we will get only the best.
