I like the Stodeh model 1903. Comes with aim bot. Very rare WW1 weapon, not many know about it.

it's nothing compared to what happened to me. great clip, so many hs and killed by tank, a medic come closer, closer and... pick my sniper instead of reviving me, such an asshole...

I ask myself this question every day. The 1903 has a flatter trajectory, making for easier headshots at extreme ranges but this only comes into play past ~175 meters. The Gewehr has a more consistent sweet spot, and higher initial bullet velocity making it so you barely have to lead for moving targets. I've settled for using the Gewehr on the majority of matches, but breaking out the 1903 if I'm against people who are keeping at longer ranges.
I prefer the G98 just because I refuse to be associated with all the useless campers who only use the 1903
Peter mercil u can still constantly be on the move and get kills,and assist your team with the 1903. Btw It is possible to camp with any weapon

SNIPING is CAMPING ofc in the real world ( real war ) you dont expect someone with single bolt action rifle challenging fully auto guns.

Martini Henry still, no scope, only iron sights and skull fractures... the G98/M1903 sweetspot is to small & still at to close of a random range (~100m) so you might aswell do the body damage hits with a better/entertaining rifle (the almighty Martini Henry ofcourse).... as long as its no scope... i go Simo Häyhä all the way baby.... its just an even more special feeling when you nail people from range with only iron sights... and ofcourse, i really hate the glare the sniper scope produces (or as i call it "look at me everybody, im here blinding you with this extremly powerful flashlight!"), the marksman scopes give no glare but the magnification is just 4x, might as well just magnify the iron sights to 2x (i also think the marksman scopes are ugly)... with that setting im also always prepared for best scout CQC combat... you will learn to anticipate the bullet drop/trajectory from long range with iron sights when you do it all the time for so long with one rifle, no problem...

Gewehr 98 Marksman for sure. Russian 1895 with 10x if i need to get revenge on a sniper-shield-on-the-hill-camper
For medium range its the SMLE-Marksman, for short-medium range the SMLE Carbine and for very short range the Gewehr 95 Infantry
I kind of hope you will tell me what to use. Im a ps4 user trying to get more accurate and be aggressive like you and ravic. I know ill never be esports but this is just for me to try and improve my quick accuracy. I will say my stats 98 first. 755-752 kills, both 1 kpm, both 43% acc, 322-292 head shots, 1396-1511 hits and play time 12h12m +40min for 1903. Pretty close in stats. I know Im not good at all id just like your input on what rifle I should try and "get good" with.
PLEASE Stodeh....the long old Gewher 98 has nothing to do with the Karabiner 98 Kurz...the k98 was adopted in 1935

I know others are saying this, but it is NOT kar98. It is g98. Yes, there were kar98a in ww1, NOT kar98k (that was ww2), but the one in BF1 is a g98.
M1903 is the best but also the gewher98 very good i have 3678 kills with the gewher and 1987 with the m1903.
For me its M1903. Gweher has more bullet speed than 1903, but i like the sweet spot of M1903 it more handy than gweher.
I play on PC.My fav riffle is the Springfield (1903).In fact it is the only weapon in bf1 that I have 100 service stars with.

Lebel model 1886 is the best. I know its not a long range sniper, but it's really overpowered, it has 8 bullets in it, it's super accurate and has almost no bullet drop.
The best thing about the shnipzor class in this game is when someone only pops their head out and you take it clean off and it says something like 98 damage. #DICE I only saw the head, how did the bullet not shave the mullet?
That shake bug is so annoying, and looking forward to adad spam being removed. Alot of good players abusing that will be punished :)
Kar 98 wasn’t invented yet. That’s a ww2 rifle. I think it came out in the mid to late 1930’s? May be a bit off.
Springfield 1903 all the way, still love the 98, but I prefer the 1903.

The best is the russian 1895 as i have been using it for over 8 months and i have tried every other rifle but get coming back to the 1895 as i know it very well
I play best with the Lebel Sniper long range and SMLE or Veterli carbine medium to close range.
I prefer the gewehr 98, it just feels good when you shoot with it... as sidearm it take the obrez, aka the god of pistols

I snipe with the Kolibri. The scope sucks and the sweetspot is just 1-5 meters, but the fire rate is insane XD

I hate the slow fire rate in the gewehr 98 but i prefer it over the M1903 because the muzzle velocity
