Idk why but after each row of instructions, I’ll say “yes maam,” pause the video and do what I’m told!!!! 😂 This is one of the best tutorials that I have been able to follow! Thank you for your patience and break down of the hat!

I’ve made two one for my granddaughter she’s 3 years old. I stopped at 5 Rows and I used two different hooks sizes. And I did single crochet on the last row.and it came out perfect. She’s a great teacher ❤

This was the perfect tutorial. I use embroidery floss, double it up and a smaller hook. To do a scrap yarn hat. I had to add an extra increase but this video helped me so much.❤🎉

I think I messed my body rows up. I was crocheting within the circle and not going on the outer circle. I believe I was able to correct it with the brim. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

When doing the repeat rows.. row 9 you chain 2 then double crochet for row 10-15 do you chain 2 for each row as well ?

Yes the skein I used in the tutorial was 240 yards and I had plenty of left over

You can do the body in a knitting machine and so the ruffles by hand

I'm stuck have frogged this hat 3 times between rows 2 and 3 I'm only coming up with 33 on row 3 for some reason
Make sure you’re putting 1 Dc stitch in the space right beside the chain 2 (the chain 2 don’t count as anything) then put 2 stitches in the next stitch and repeat that pattern throughout the row. At the end of the row you should have 36 stitches. I hope that helps. Please join the Facebook group so that if you need more questions we can help out.
