I love your ruffle hat pattern. The only thing I did different was decrease on the one row before the 3 double crochet per stitch to make it a little snugger. Your pattern is by far the best of all the others I have done! YOU ROCK LADY!

Oh I love the mermaid blanket! That's beautiful! As far as the giveaways, I think you should keep doing what you're doing. Sometimes life just happens. Maybe they got sick, or a family member got sick and they're taking care if them and they completely forgot about the giveaway. I’ve made my second. Both are really too short and to wide. Almost flat. Is there something I should have done differently. I followed to the letter. And both hats looks the same. I’m lease help. 😢

My grandmother showed me how to crochet when I was about 3/4 years old (I’m 75 now) during the pandemic I thought I’d really learn it and I’m doing good and I always think of her. So thank you, for all your other reasons. 🇨🇦🇵🇱👩‍🎨🚴‍♂️🙏

I’m so disappointed! I would have loved to make this. I tried three times to make this 💔 but every time my stitches came out so “gappy” that it just did not look right. I got all the way up to the repeat rows after the bend but had to take it out. 😢 It looked too big and just too many gaps in my stitches. I tried a larger needle and even tired to just make my stitches tighter, but nothing worked. I’m soooo disappointed. I may try again when I’m not so frustrated with myself. lol Anyway, thanks for great instructions and I pray to be able to make it in the near future.

Lady V, I taught my daughter how to crochet and she has ended up teaching me different techniques as well. I really agree with all the reason to crochet. I make gifts and do not sell.

I gifted my niece and nephews a blanket I crocheted. There were three colors in which each could sit under her or his respective color on the sofa. A year later, I saw a large gaping hole in the blanket. They were not able to appreciate the love I put into crocheting the blanket. As a result, I have and will not ever crochet anything for them or their mom, my sister.

I learned to crochet when I was a teenager, I picked it back up in 2018 after surgery. I go to a senior center on Monday and crochet with a group of seniors ❤
