Now I know why they call it “the struggle” because it’s a struggle to get a good ending.

Including how the Samurai Armor ending is SUCH A FUCK YOU because 'Oh you didn't interact with this armor any? Well FUCK YOU, you're dead. No rhyme or reason, just crushed to death by the armor out of GODDAMNED NOWHERE' and if you want to AVOID that? Play the game all over again.

Clock Tower series really is a game that TellTale trying to achieve. "Your action will have impact". Every single chat lead you to death.

I love that a not insignificant number of the endings in this game are just Bates mouthing off to people and then those people killing Alyssa.

Ending G was such a troll. You had to do something in the first ACT, otherwise that blood spot will be there and you are locked into that ending regardless.

The whole game is suck. But Alyssa is cute girl.
If you get the A ending first ever try, you either cheating, one of the developers, or just gifted, this game came out when I was 4 and I was confused by the ending system... and this game made me like games that had multiple endings, underdeveloped be they may.

This game has a lot of flaws, especially when if you make a mistake, you can't avoid the bad endings and start from the very beginning to make sure to avoid the bad endings.
Maybe it's the player that has a lot of flaws, cause if you know what to avoid, what to click on and not click on, then the game is a cakewalk until The Fathers, then it gets dicey with that fire extinguisher
@@D-Ry Actually if you pick up the machine gun early in the Fathers, you can simply switch to Bates, clean up the area from the Zombies and then switch back to Alyssa to explore. If you run out of bullets talk to the nurse as Bates and she will reload the machine gun back to 20 bullets., enough to kill all Zombies in the Fathers without needing Bates' Milicana.

The voice acting......the only good ones were Bates, Maxwell, and Stephanie.
It’s a general thing with older games. It’s not always the voice actor’s fault, but the direction they were given.
Japan version is extremely good.
It's still better than og re voice acting.

In this fic, Dan was born a normal looking child instead of the giant purple baby. And instead of wanting to kill Jennifer, he became obsessed with her and wanted her to be his and his alone (Yandere style.). So he helped her survive his mother and brother and escaped with her. But then his obsession with her got much worse due to Jennifer starting to ignore him in favor of other people and he became furious and pretended to be his brother, and became the Scissors man in order to kill everyone who gets closer to her, but as opposed to the original, he gets away with it and manages to kill everyone close to Jennifer except for Helen Maxwell who ends legally adopting him alongside Jennifer.
But Helen started to notice that Dan was starting to develop a somewhat perverted behavior towards Jennifer, so she decided to sent him away for some time, so she sent him to stay a bit with her stranded brother, George Maxwell. Who makes Dan his assistance on his twisted experiments.

No one wants to play this crappy game.
I barely know anything of this game but according to the wiki page Bates is sort of like an supernatural evil alter ego due to a curse on the family that happens every few generations or so when twin girls are born. Why Bates is male is......well, no one knows.
@@utopian4769 Theory is that the twins were male and female - Yuu/Alyssa and Shou/Bates. When the twins were buried alive by Maxwell/Saidou, Yuu/Alyssa's adoptive father uncovered them. Shou/Bates had died, but his soul transferred into Yuu/Alyssa, so in a roundabout way, because it was the female twin that lived, the two souls possessed a female body making Shou/Bates a "female" - hence "cursed daughters". Had Yuu/Alyssa died, it would have been Shou/Bates with the two souls so Yuu/Alyssa would have been "male" and the curse would have been broken that generation.
