The big thing with AirPower (well for me at least) is that it promised freedom of placement. The only charger that i can find right now that has Freedom of Placement is the ZENS Liberty Wireless Charger.

Yes, indeed - if you can fit them, though. The regular Base Station without the Apple Watch charger might be a better fit for most if they want to be able to charge two phones at once because that way the Apple Watch charging part of the base station won't get in the way.
I actually don't find wireless charging to be too slow. You have to be careful in wirelessly charging too fast. Doing so can generate a lot of heat and excessive heat is an enemy of Lithion Ion battery health.
That was definitely a commercial. Obviously he felt a responsibility to the company that gave him the device. Positioning. If he used the same theory on lining upfone to charger on the other brand shown, he would get the same result. Just give us the facts and let us decide.

No. There is charging protection built in to nearly all wireless charging devices these days.

It’s built into the device. There’s no “proof” that you’ll find. The devices won’t accept a dangerous voltage for its charging needs.

I’m very fussy when it comes to wireless chargers a lot of these make loud buzzing sounds that annoys me have gone though a few finding a quiet one.
This charging hub is completely silent. No buzzing sound that I can hear whatsoever!

It totally depends on what your charging setup is. With this charging hub, probably around 2 hours for a 0-100% charge.
