Samsung tabletop projector. How can you not see that this will be great for schools and other training applications? Users will not have to pay for a screen so the desk will serve as a multipurpose unit. This is actually one of the best things that you reviewed.

except for projectors costing as much if not more then a screen, only being cost viable for large-coverage applications such as being at the head of the classroom. Unless you are buying apple displays, its so much cheaper for them to just buy chromebooks and desktops with displays en masse.

Why are these fools still making 8k TVs? who the heck is complaining about seeing the pixels with 4K? I never heard anyone complain about 1080P, in fact thats what most of the content is, or lower resolution. 8k would be useful for NASA or scientist or Medical doctors, as they would stand very close to the screen and therefore the high PPI would actually be useful. But for normal viewing distances, heck, even at half normal viewing distance, you still can not see the pixels on a large 4k tv....

My 50" 4K tv at 9 feet away is like 168ppd. 4K is more than enough imo, and I'm glad because i can't afford to store many things in 4K, so I need hard drives to catch up. It's time we stopped increasing resolution for normal content.

I think it’s great to see more of the wireless display connectivity like in the Samsung and LG TVs although I’m not sure how useful it actually is for those devices at this point since most people have their TVs wired in some form anyways. I think that sort of tech would be MUCH better appreciated in things like high-end desktop AR/VR headsets that could be truly wireless like the more popular standalone ones headsets. Hopefully we’ll start seeing that sometime in the near future.

The front-facing scanner is several multitudes more accurate then the rear-facing LIDAR scanner that apple wants you to use.
Trackpads are also way ahead, but not everyone uses them so that's mostly for laptop users.
Their mobile chips are absurdly powerful for the class of device, but unfortunately are gimped by software (M4 iPad)
Now that I think about it, if apple didn't gimp a lot of their devices they could be better then all the competition.

@@supersmashmaster43 not likely. They are targeting release in a few months. That demo unit would have to be seriously out of date for there to be significant changes by release, and why would they show off a super out of date prototype?

They’re probably targeting kids anyway and also influencers. So the form factor doesn’t really matter. They might create a sleeker one with a more premium price. If they won’t then a third party from china will.

Also 3D depth is just as important as 3D pop.

I would’ve found this video more useful, but I can’t understand why you would miss out NIT values. This is a pretty basic point of interest for TVs, brightness is a core feature.
