- Driving my Dad's restored 1984 premier Padmini to Nandi hills Bangalore. I took 2 Yrs to restore this car into this condition. I will be sharing the restoration process also. I hope you guys will like it. Please do Like and Share. And even consider to Subscribe for more videos.

Lovely old car. Dad had one in 1971 when I was born. We all loved it.
Lovely old car. Glad to see it still on road. My family used to own it back in 90's Now its very hard to see any. But i must say everytime I see a padmini I turn around and appreciate it.

Reminds me of our India trips when I was a kid!
My father had a Fiat Padmini white colour. It was a 1987 model and was the first car of our family. I was a kid n I remember we use to go on long drives with that car to various parts of orissa. Lots of fond memories are associated with it. That car had a charm of it's own, especially with the classy sound and its famous handgear. I use to imitate the stat sound of the car in my tricycle those days. Padmini was a part of our family for 16 years and no doubt the nostalgic level with this car is infinity

We had this car till 2018 it was bought in mid 1980's and I have a lot of childhood memories associated wit this car. 💓 Fiat Padmini🤗🤗

Love the hand gear (ancient paddle shift 😜) saves so much space in the car! I wish regular cars would still come with this feature in today's world

Two of my relatives had it, one was a 70s model with FIAT written at the front instead of PAL and one was a late 80s / early 90s PAL. Fond memories.
That engine note has such a character. Everytime you were driving in wet conditions, you had to be really careful with this car. It had the propensity to stall because of water intake into the engine. ☺️

Love the column shift gear and the sound! But why drive in opposite lane at curves, especially the blind ones (or at all)?
Thanks for the comment. Its a pretty narrow road and the road doesn't have the centre line marking. The video makes you feel that i am on the opposite lane but we where on our drive lane itself. Watch the video properly and you would understand.

I wished that premier padmini 2019 could have been a Volkswagen vento in terms of dimensions but sadly this iconic car,s production was stopped in 2001 & now premier company is facing bankruptcy.🙁 . now we can hope that tata or mahindra should take up this design & brand name officially & introduce a retro modern sedan..but nevertheless premier Padmini will never ever lose the charm & many owners in our country like u preserve this iconic car ....keep it up 👍❤💪

1998 me gao jate samye mere uncle ka aur aunty ka accident hua tha chota road tha us time bus wale ne thoka tha humare uncle ne bhi 60 speed se chalate the bus wale ne thoka hamari fiat pori khatam ho gai thi shukra hai uncle bach gaye age ka steering sine pe aya tha piche ki taki taki age ai thi aunty ne shisha toda aur uncle ko bahar nikala ❤❤

Absolutely. This aint a powerful car. But still does the job of driving around in city limits and gets to a top speed of 100kmph.
I must say it looks smashing. I used to have one from 1987 to 1991 and then another from 1991 to 1994. My first car which I got in college. Learned driving on it! Fond memories. But with the AC you had to put it in third gear even going up a simple flyover! 😄
@@Krieky 😂😂🤣🤣 you bet. The car just doesn't pull with the AC on. I am so glad to know you had two cars with you. And it should have been a proud moment for you to take the car to college back then. I really wished I could have done the same. But sadly dad never let me touch this car till last year. Once i got my hands on it I decided to restore it to my taste and use it. Now I use it mostly in city traffic but as u said even now he begs for power with the AC on 🤣🤣 let me know your Instagram id. We shall connect on it.
