Wow! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉 Just watched my little brother score his first double century, and I’m speechless! From endless practice sessions to this moment - he’s shown nothing but passion and hard work. Couldn’t be prouder of him. Here’s to many more big scores and unforgettable innings. Keep shining, champ! 🏏🔥 #ProudSisterMoment"
Tristan demonstrates exceptional skill in cricket, showcasing a remarkable combination of technique and athleticism. His ability to read the game allows him to make decisions to judge the length and make his choose of shot easier. Tristan that was an unstoppable double ton, earning the respect from your subscribers and coaches alike and is a future star.
hey Tristan, I'm an Aussie player in u12 and i watched this game as you smashed your opponent keep up the good work and i know you'll have a great career!
Thank you for the message of support from Down Under and hopefully one day, circumstances might be crazy enough to get you to South Africa or Tristan to Australia to have a bash!! Keep your amazing support and encouragement for all players going strong👍🏻👍🏻
The first thing that came to mind was Kallis. The boy has a sweet shot selection. Strong on the back foot. And I read in the comments that he's a good meduim pacer as well. Could be the next best all-rounder. Practice.
Wow, putting Kalis in the sentence is a BIG name to be throwing around, but thank you. Yes, lots of back foot play. Moved over to off spin and reaping some sticks.
Mohamed Abed the reason why Tristan LOVES this game and why Declan mde it into the Lions Colts Academy. By FAR the best Junior Cricket coach in Gauteng, maybe even South Africa!
I did some research on this very impressive young man and he is a future star for (sadly) South Africa. He also bowls some spin and has taken three wickets to win another match. What a shame this story did not make the news, this guy deserves way more praise than he is getting, a double hundred at his age, how many test cricket players can say they did that??
@Facts4Fun1. Thank you for such kind words of encouragement! All those videos, and live streams are purely for when the time comes when we can sit as a family with the next generation to say, "look what your Dad did when he was in Primary School 😊😊" But I have found that playing sports unites and brings together everyone from all over the world and gives a reason to BE NICE!! and that's exactly what you and a lot of the people have done on this feed... YOU ARE ALL AMAZING PEOPLE!!
Incredable knock from Tristan, or should I say Marnus Labuschagn. For me He's got Marnus Labuschagne in him, I know he plays for Australia. I'm also Australian watching from Australia. But, in 6-10 years time, I can definitely see him playing for South Africa. Imagine what he's going to play like when he's 18. INCREDABLE MATE. Futrue Star right there.
Watched it many times... This would require some serious Sports Production equipment, with third officials, to get the best decision. In my opinion, it looked OUT. But on the day, it would be very hard for the square leg umpire to make a call in such a tight real life situation. Maybe the benefit of the doubt should lay in favour of the batsman? It is an under 11 match after all. I still love the fact that all these moments are caught for kids to watch scenarios AND for the Umpires to revisit their decisions. Both the Umps on the day spoke to the players constantly and let them know about decisions and guided them.
Good to see a kid having this intent! But please make sure he enjoys test cricket as well. That’s the real game, need concentration, technique, temperament e.t.c
@aramm785 Great point! He was invited to play a Time Format over two days. Learnt and LOVED the experience. www.cricclubs.com/SEDP2024/viewScorecard.do?matchId=949&clubId=1003144
I what think it's purely a cost factor. There are three wickets at this particular venue, none have them. Not many Primary School and some High School venues have the finance to install sight screens
Decent batsmen are always a mile ahead of bowlers at this age - the strength to bowl fast enough just isn't there yet. It's a great effort and he obviously has some skill. But if he is still doing this at 17-18, that'll be a better sign.
This is called Primary Schools Area level. Age group is Under 11 (So the child turns 11 within the year they play). Schools play within their areas and children are selected, through trials, to be part of an Area Squad. Next level is Regional, then Provincial. Provincial Cricket falls under Cricket South Africa and they administer only two age groups U16 and U19
Target audience:🌏 Actual audience 🌏 😂 First time that you're not seeing indians in comment section 😂 And there are all cricket countries in the comments 😂😂
It is wrong to criticize anyone so young and he can certainly wallop the ball, however it might be worthwhile and advantageous to become a little more athletic shall we say. All the best for the future.
They also run that ruling in Primary schools out in South Africa. Allows for quality of opportunity. That's why these festivals are created to allow for expansion. But there is also a drive for the more enthusiastic Cricketers to join a Junior program at a local club. There, they get to play many formats and even play in higher age groupings
😊 Declan playing for University of Johannesburg and a contract with the Lions Colts Academy team. Still LOVING this game. But, at this moment, my camera follows the youngster.
The glaze in this section is crazy calm down ball sat on the pitch gave him all the time to hit tell him to play with little higher speed and he gets ducked😂😂😂😂 as a part time coach shots were very easy to hit needs to work on footwork and also pulling the ball very much with higher paced ball this will not work. Needs some more classy shot play and push into the offside more. Great job tho ❤
... and let me know when you get your 50, so we can all celebrate!! It's great charaters, like you, that keep playng for the love of the game and support everyone in their achievements. Keep going and send the photo or video when you DO raise your bat.
He’s technique is below par, they dropped him like 10 times and he’s facing average bowlers. He won’t make it big time, can see it early. He plays a short ball down the ground cross bat. What kind of technique is that
Wow! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

The shots look well timed and affective, natural talent

Bro that's awesome 🔥👍
Keep it up 💯🤩
One piece of advice i would have for any budding young bowler in South Africa........ do not, under ANY circumstances, pitch it short to Tristan!!!
😅

Very cool. Keep working at it and hopefully cricket can give him a ticket out of South Africa and to a better life.

Ticket to where? To your idea of paradise? We are doing ok in SA thank you.
we are fine in south africa.

good on the lad, some nice shots

Well done Tristan!!!!
The bowling attack seems similar to WI senior team LOL
I've just seen him in another video bowling some very tidy-looking medium fast left arm over.

Wow runs flowing from his bat

So cool. In Australia you can’t even make that much because you get retired at 50
