When I'm walking/training I really don't care what other people think, besides, I think my neighbors are probably more interested in my having a well behaved dog than anything. I have one by PLAY that has a pocket for poop bags, I also put a small laser pointer in for emergencies. It has a zippered compartment intended for small whatever - I put a pair of disposable gloves in case puppy picks up something dead/extra gross that I need to retrieve from the mouth. It also comes with a belt. 😃

And I also agree.. cuz they are waaaaay to similar to a Fanny pack which wasn’t even cool when they came out in the late 80’s .. and certainly not now after someone decided they needed to have some sort of a comeback (they didn’t!!!)

I pinch a (dry) treat between my lips. My dog has to approach me, look at my face and scoot in close to get it when I let it drop. This eliminates the problem of the dog looking at your hand or your treat pouch.

I use a silicone treat pouch. It keeps its shape, no goofy net at the top. It has a magnet to keep it shut. Clips on your belt and never comes off. Also very easy to clean from those greasy training treats, hot dogs, cheese.
I love my dorky treat bag, I have the same one that's on the very bottom with the green called PetSport, I love it because it also has a spot for Usti's poo bags which I would never remember if they weren't in her treat bag lol
I look super dorky mine is on a sling like a purse with my whistle around my neck also i have 2 totes on my sling. I have kibble dry treats like freeze dried chicken typically then one for wet stuff like hot dogs or meats and just things that are moist. Although i dont always have the 2nd tote on me.

My mom just bought me a leather fanny pack for work. I've had it for a month and haven't used it because it's dorky. But, I should because I have to carry 2 cell phones, a walkie talkie, treats, a pen and my cigarettes. These wouldn't fit in that tiny bag he's suggesting.
what about the practicality factor? I could go with dorky, as long as it's practical. I'm guessing you're not one to obsess over the perfect treat bag... but just thought to ask. As an example, silicone treat pouches are easy to wash. But they don't provide any extra pockets for something else that you might want to carry with your pouch (poo bags, your phone, etc.)

I put a ziplock bag in my pocket, then put the treats in that. They consider it a concealed weapon up here in Canada.
As long as you throw the zip lock bag in the garbage and not on the ground.
