It was completely made up by the "victim" and they spent I think a year in a American jail while waiting for the case to be thrown out. If I remember correctly they didn't even have real contacts with their families and were treated like criminals even though no charges were made. This happened while on tour with Thy Art Is Murder and where only 11 shows in I saw them in Vancouver Canada the day before. It was a wild time.

Vogg's string stops with palm muting after those galloping open notes are so good. It gives his sound that attack that's the signature of his. So clean, but heavy. I also love how his solos just abruptly end, and I'm sure as shit that he's inspired by Meshuggah and Deicide with that type of solo playing. His music is like the perfect mix of Pantera and Meshuggah.
Organic Hallucinosis was their last album with their original drummer (Vogg's brother, Vitek [RIP]) and with Covan as vocalist. I agree, their individual capabilities have all improved drastically from Carnival or Mantra. This shit hits my soul now, not that it was ever necessarily not good.

Do you really can tell the new drummer from the previous one? The biggest flaw of new Decapitated is that the drummer has no creative freedom. Their drum parts are so generic. I understand Vogg wants control out of respects for his brother, but drums have really no dynamics in the last couple of records
@@marcomudu4985 I think James Stewart is another level to Łysejko, way more technical and faster. Łysejko had a lot of groove and power, great drummer, but James for me reminds me of Vitek the most.
I'm a fool for chromatic meshugga palm muting so I love the so called generic drums. It really keeps you in a,repetitive groove just head bashing...like earth scar and kill the cult. But it's good to see them get back to more leads and not just open chugging.
