Revocation deserves far more recognition than they get. They're an insanely talented band and Dave is one of the best metal guitarists of all time.

I've listened to this song like 20 times in 3 days and I can say it's easily an instant classic, same way as 'Scorched Earth Policy', 'Crumbling Imperium', 'The Gift You Gave' or 'Exhumed Identity'.

I am getting to know this song. As of this comment, this is only my second time hearing it and trying to listen critically and read what they are trying to say. I am glad Metal Blade Records shared the lyrics for us to read through. I admire Dave, Brett, and Ash as artist and musicians very much. I look forward to seeing them play live at the end of September.
Their prior works, from what I gathered are a bit less steeped in Overt or blatant satanic themes. The title of this song and its lyrics have no reservations.
I noticed comments from other users and some their ideas about that.
I am excited and hope to make some more memories of being able to watch this amazing band grow. The rest of the fans are probably stoked too!

I think what separates Revocation from their contemporaries is that even though they're techy death metal, you can tell they have a huge musical palette. Same with Gorod.

Why do I not hear about this band more than I do? I saw them in ATL this year not knowing much about them. Their show (and the whole show) was on another level. There talent and effort is well above average yet I never hear about them. This song is on the new playlist. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My favourite band of the last 15 years, they remain true to their sound, powerful and melodic as always. I could only ask for more Dave solos. Can't wait for the album.
Another masterpiece by Revocation! This alone proves that death metal can be as musical as any other genre.
Killer! With TBDM now up in the air, at least we still have Revocation to count on for some high quality modern death metal

Nothing can replace TBDM, but if it were possible, Revocation would be pretty close. Loved it since the first time I listened an album.

Thank you TH-cam wormhole in 2008. I found my favorite band and have stuck by Revocation this entire time. I’ve took guitar lessons from Dave, met in person, went to concerts, and continue to jam his songs. Love you dudes!
I got into this band around 2009. I've been in love with them ever since then. They never ever disappoint me.
You would think this was a 5 piece unit. Doing so much more with less and creating music that slays everything else. Great song.

This was sick! New Revocation is always welcome! The Outer Ones was an important album in my guitar journey, especially Fathomless Catacombs. It’s one of the few songs that gave me adrenaline after finally conquering it.

I wouldn't say this is "complex", It's pretty straight forward...
What do equality and empathy have to do with "Satanic rites"? And why would the lamb deem empathy and equality "demonic" when Isaiah 6 says that one day "The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them." The Biblical vision of utopa is all about love, peace, equality, etc. Kinda lame for a death metal band to be preaching sentimental values like my mom.
Layered and complex? Sounds more like a cringey Hot Topic teen trying to be edgy.

Ash is such a perfect addition to this band. I loved his addition from the start but he's only grown on me. This drum mix is definitely one of the best I've heard in metal.
Just stating an opinion: nobody else on Earth is playing guitar and doing vocals on the same level as Dave Davidson, period

I love the video. Good old skateboarding in videos is always cool, and not so common in this genre. Reminds me of some nice pop-punk videos back from the '90, in all the good ways. Also I really dig revocations faster songs, and this is one of them. Everything done right 👍
