I got my first ever in-ear monitors, a budget recommendation called the Linsoul Tangzu Wan'er S.G. Here's my unboxing and review.

🗿It's noice isn't it? I bought the green version (apparently it has better cables, and also a new design) but still wan'er and although i hate to do it having more info is nice anyways - Lady wan'er isn't an anime character but one of the most famous women in Chinese history for her talent. She was one of Tang dynasty’s greatest poets and was known to be “the first female premier in China”. She also played a larger role as writer and arbiter than any other woman in Chinese history. She is one of the very few women in Chinese history who rose to a position of political power based solely on her ability rather than through marrying an influential man. She served as personal secretary under Empress Wu, in which she dealt with important state matters. (Clipped from Linsoul website cuz i couldn't remember everything). Apparently unlike other brands tangzu uses real life women......as their waifus but well, they're all celebrated women for something, it's nice~

We use these in our stage and studio monitoring rigs. You’re never going to get a good cable with a $20 Iem. We use the Linsoul Zonie upgrade cable and Comply foam tips. The Zonie cable is soft and comfortable, which is a must for musicians. Right now there are many in that $20 line that sound great. Do videos on the 7hz Zero, the QKZ-HBB, the Kiwi Ears Cadenza, and the HBB-Khan. All those are under $50 . I think you are going to be surprised. All the best, Sonny T

@@warth45 yes it is good for use by an individual. But using them onstage the performers (male) put them down the inside back of the shirt so it stays out of the way. So that’s why it has to be so comfortable. We have the Hola too but must change that one also. Also it’s not actually a chin cinch; it slides up to the back of the neck to hold the earhooks on. It’s in the original patent as a neck cinch.You’ll never see the cable when a musician uses them. That Zonie cable comes in 2pin and QDC and in six colors. Linsoul has many upgrade cables
@@Dkens People ask why spend $20 on a cable for a $20 Iem? most hobbyists don’t think about this, but an individual doesn’t need but 1 good upgrade cable. If you have 6 sets of iems with a 2pin cable, one upgrade cable will fit them all. ( you can’t use but one set at a time). When I’m out I take a small case with 4 sets and one cable.
Onstage I might supply 4-12 sets at a time, so I have about 100 stock cables never been used. Kinera also makes great cables. All the best, Sonny T
One of my Fav IEMs is Fiio FD1. Best piece I own. My first ever IEM was Tin Hifi T2 which didn't have proper soundstage as the FD1. Yet to explore the planar magnetic IEMs which I've heard are so good.

I call it "sound hunting" haha, with cold blood I decided to start from real low end of audiophile road but hot heart make you crazy when you go for hunting, There was a plan like 1 Iem monthly and now after 2 months I have 15 budget ones ( up to 50$). But I think that's good idea to start from a bottom and climb up to fill difference. I hope someone will stop this train before it leads me to bankruptcy.

I love this, a person that speaks my language! I have sevral of the popular budget IEMs,s and they are all fantastic sounding, different but each very nice and certainly worth the $20.00! I have also purchased the Performer 5's and they are also fantastic...but 9 time sthe price? Only each of us can make that decision. As far as the Rabbit Hole, someone throw me a rope! 10 IEMs and still buying. Great video, Thanks!1😎

It is indeed rabbit hole 😂. I currently own 6 IEM's, and I intentionally bought for different sound signature to enjoy different kind of music or simply getting bored from one pair. Don't know how many I will own on the future because these IEM's progression and update is like every 3 month there will be something new released. And my wallet are screaming 🤣

i still would not consider mysefl an audiophile; there are nuances that i would not be able to pick-up or discern. And yet here i am, now on my 3rd iem. One thing about your review, though, i think comparing a Tangzu Wan Er with your Beyer Dynamic is like comparing apples to oranges. Try iems by Fat Frequency, TruthEar, Simgot, 7Hz, Kiwi Ears... specially those in the 80$ and up price bracket, and you'll get a better idea as to why people get into the iem hobby. Also, try the planar magnetic iems, as well as multi-driver hybrids.
But as someone who's been in the hobby for a couple of years now, i also must give you a fair word of caution; be very very wary(if you can avoid it, just avoid it) of brands with QC(quality control) issues such as KZ- they're basically a meme in the iem hobby community right now(because of the many issues they seem to make an effort to get themselves into, and the myriad of excuses they come up with to try to explain away these issues); and currently, Moondrop is also having QC issues, and has not been doing right by their customers in rectifying their QC issues.
Try watching channels like Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews, Crinacle, Akros, Giz Audio, Dan's Audio Reviews, Super Chonk, Ian Fann, etc... so you;ll be able to get a better idea as to what's going on in the iem community, things/issues/brands/iems to watch out for(and/or avoid), and whatnot.
...i wouldn't be surprised if this Wan Er video will just be the first of many more iem reviews; hehehe... 😉

The ear tips of different colours have different purpose. Some are make vocals more pronounced, some make instruments more pronounced

These look like the KZ Earphones that shuffle PC's sells
Trust me, they are not. I have 12 sets of these in my budget iems case for opening acts and local acts, plus using in the studio for filming. Everyone who has used them have loved them, or we wouldn’t be using them. We upgrade the cable ($20 Zonie from Linsoul) and foam ear tips from Comply, so we actually have $45 -+ in each set , which we still consider budget. You’re not going to get a good cable with a $20 Iem. All the best. Sonny T

I am here literally after just unboxing them and using them. All i can say is this is the worse heaphones i have ever used....... Literally no bass , it just raw sound , and its so uncomfortably loud, it literally hurts not even joking, the buzzing in the ear won't stop, i don't get what are these people recommending............... Deff NOT for gaming.
