Great fights frags and video. Polarised battleships are always a favourite of mine. The moment the praxis released I flew a Polarised torp fit with c3a's. Goog memories Glad to see someone keeping the solo battleship dream alive!
Have you thought of using Abaddon with polarized Mega Pulses? It has 8x Guns and a lot of EHP though only issue is 4 Mid slots. Another great one would be the Navy Megathron. With Implants and boosters with polarized, 2800 dps HOT with 173k EHP with great tracking. Also using a Heavy NOS instead of cap booster or Neut with Booster instead of web.
The Abaddon has a lot of EHP due to the resistance bonus. Going polarized on it negates the resist bonus. Quad plate + Trimarks on Abaddon is about 93k HP. Which isn't terrible and only slightly lower than the TyFI. The other issue is that its initial damage looks promising with 1600 dps from the guns alone, but then its kind of let down with its drones. So your total dps from the Abaddon is 1800 before heat and drugs. You get to 2k dps with heat, and with drugs probably around 2.1-2.2k. The other issue is the 8 guns. You can't heat 8 guns for very long, so you'll start to run into a lot heat damage quickly, limiting your dps back to 1800 range. I shit on the Armageddon Navy Issue a lot, but out of the Amarr laser battleships, the ANI is probably the best to polarize. It has higher raw armor HP than the abaddon (so it scales better), similar dps because it gets the 5 heavy drones and then a utility high and only 7 guns. The only issue I have with both of those, is tracking. 4 mids really limits your ability to track well without a tracking bonus. Navy Mega can work with polarized fits, but its also super obvious. Almost every navy mega that is out roaming (especially solo) is going to be some hull tanked monster that no one wants to engage solo or with a small gang. So you end up just running into big blobs or primarily kitey comps.
Split you torps into groups of 2 separated by the turrets and you get less heat damage. If you put them into two different groups (each group of two is on a different set) you can swap between the heat on them and stretch it even further. the modules take heat damage from the mods next to them also
This was fucking awesome, and I loved seeing the ikitursa pop in particular
I miss EvE a little. And very nice to see BS changes. I do
Good to see a new video from you
Oof I totally missed this. Glad to find it almost by chance!

oof, and thats why my rets are beam fit
are you using amulets and other implants?
@@scipug3048 sort of. It's mentioned during the fitting breakdown. But I'm only using a couple of the amulets that are cheap to get EHP over 100k

EVE was such a cool game. Shame CCP are the ones in charge of it.
