Fran, I have watched you from your very humble beginnings and I have to say your spinning skills have grown SO much! I am not a spinner myself but love watching the process. I have learned as you have learned! You are amazing. I have very close family members with BP/BPD that I have suffered along with, and from that experience I can honestly say you have come very long way with your disorder. As you know it is very difficult when suffering with BD to have any real concrete plan at any time, it is an hourly and daily struggle to stay in a straight line. Even though most of your struggle is behind the scenes I am hearing strength and conviction in your voice. You have a friend and believer in me ❤ Thank you for sharing with us and I can't wait to see where your journey takes you!! God Bless
So good to see a video from you! I’m so excited that you will be starting your bear making business again. Looking forward to watching your preparations for opening!
I am so thrilled for you as you work on your new venture! I will be following and cheering you on, and I look forward to being a member of your Patreon when you get it established. Bravo!
Such an absolute gorgeous stash of handspun! You've been busy, and I loved hearing your journey with each one and the project ideas you have for them. Super calming and inspiring.
Just lovely! Your handspun is stunning and your sweet bears will bring joy to many. Wishing you all the best as you continue on your journey, step by step, towards restarting your business.
Hello Fran- what an absolute joy it was to watch your blog and take in all the beautiful things you have been making. I am so thrilled that you will be moving forward with your bear making business. We all know that slow and steady wins the race and yet, as creatives, our minds race and are filled with a plethora of plans and ideas. Steady on my friend- you are the real deal and you have something precious, heartfelt and good to share. Sending love xoxo
Hello dear Jacqueline - yes slow and steady has very much been the theme of the past six months for me, including only just getting back to your kind message now. Thank you so much for your continued support, encouragement and friendship, I so truly appreciate it 🤍
Excited to see your progress with British sheep breeds :) love a bit of John Arbon! I just bought some lovely Romney x Shetland from Fernhill Fibre at Wonderwool Wales and I can't wait to process it. I've got to learn to chain ply at some point, I think!
Hallo Fran, as always I just love spending time with you. Your spinning and other crafting is really fabulous. You are really looking well. Take care xx
Thank you! I sent out a first newsletter last night, can’t remember if it’s you who hadn’t managed to sign up because of my website glitch? If so, I’ve found a way to share a sign up form without passing by my website…and which allows you to see the archives. I’ll share the link on my IG next week! (Got a lot going on this weekend!)
@@woollenhearted I didn’t have any difficulty signing up and received my newsletter, looking forward to seeing what lovely things are in store once you’re up and running again with your business. 😊
@@countrysnippets oh great! I had a few folks message me because they couldn’t access the sign up after I shared it as I then crashed my site 😂 wasn’t sure if it was you, not always easy to keep up with all the different names! Hopefully should be another coming next weekend! Xx
Im so glad you decided to return to bear making, its such a unique thing you are doing, very special! Your spinning is beautiful, cant wait to see the bumble bee socks! Fran maybe its just my computer for some reason, but when I go to your website it doesnt come up, just an error message, wonder if anyone else sees that? wish you the best and it will be fun to watch you grow your special business!
Thank you so much! Your encouragement means the world! Don’t worry about the website, I did a silly thing this week whilst trying to add some html code (don’t ask me what it means!) and I seem to have broken my website! Hopefully with my husband’s help we will be able to fix it next week! Thanks so much for watching! Xxx
Thank you! I spent most of January and February spinning in the evenings, just couldn’t seem to stop! So happy to have you here! I hope you are doing well! Xxxx
Hello Mandy, thank you so much for your kind message and sorry for taking so long to reply! Spinning is an incredibly peaceful pastime and I whole heartedly recommend it to you if you ever get the opportunity to try 🤍
I’d be happy to film a tutorial once I’ve got an overhead tripod (it’s a bit precarious trying to film and deal with hot water with one hand!). I’m very new to dyeing roving, I’ve only ever dyed locks or carded batt before so I’m no way an expert! But I’m happy to share my methods as I develop them! And no, I’ve not found it too difficult so far…but I would never try dyeing merino!
Thank you! I always mean to mention what I’m wearing, I will next time! So it’s actually a gift from my dear friend Josh Moll, Breiwerken on IG. She designed and knitted it herself, the pattern is available on her ravelry or directly from her, it’s called the cabled boxy. It’s knitted in Moeke wool Elena, I think held double as it’s a singles yarn!
Good to see you so enthousiastic about your business again. Your bears are so lovely ,
The Jacob is so gorgeous the three ply oh my gosh you’re such an inspiration. Thank you for your podcasts.
Beautiful as always Fran! ❣

I’m hoping to, sooner than you may think! Thank you for sticking around, it’s so good to have positive encouragement.
A lovely and peaceful interlude. I love to knit, but I've never tried spinning. I'm looking forward to learning more.

Please share your dyeing process. Thanks!
Would be great to see more of how you dyed the roving….is it hard to handle?

Love your jumper…is it handspun and knitted by yourself? if so which pattern as I would love to knit a cable.
