They work well with handspun and for gifts. I am knitting for my dear daughter who is again in a mental health crisis and luckily home with us. A summer tee for over dresses and skirts, and I will start the Journey sweater that was alas lost to moths. She had a moth infestation in her student housing, luckily most jumpers were saved but she needs some new things. I started her on a crochet blanket journey, she loves working with her hands. And she started spinning again. ❤Sending you masses of love ❤️ and soft landings in your home.

Such sheer happy tears of joy this morning seeing that your episode had gently landed in my virtual basket … I have so often watched snow falling, thinking about you and sending you loving thoughts … Like you, I always have simple socks on the go, sometimes even two pairs at different stages to enjoy the plain knitting of stitches… and like you, crochet framed my recovery and building myself back together after a burn out years ago… I remember getting up on the first day I had been signed off and chaining up the start of my granny blanket… I helped it grow everyday without fail and I cherish it so much, I look at it and cradle in it today seeing each row as another step I made towards getting better… The twin bears are so adorable in their sweet outfits! Sending lots of affection and best wishes for good nursing back to a fairer bill of health!🧶

Im trying it out but to be honest I always end up back with my trusted top down, heel flap and gusset sock as its just in my head. I like my knitting to be gentle on my brain. You are an inspiration and remind me to take things slow; to savour the good and simple things of life. Life can get so busy and we get distracted by things that don't really matter, don't you think. This video was a reminder of what is real and meaningful. I am knitting my first Cinthia Vallet pattern, Bunny Odile and I am looking forward to making all the clothes for her. Hiya! I'm so glad you're back and feeling better! I had missed your lovely calm energy. I too absolitely love to have a simple plain sock project on the go whilst there are other, sometimes more concentration needing projects too. I knit on them socks when sitting in doctors waiting room or in bus stop, cafes when waiting for food to arrive etc and sometimes it is the best thing in the evening when mind and body are too tired for anything else. I really love your jumper, it's very cute and suits you well. I hope to see your finished grany square planket when you're finished. Happy making! 💜

I related to what you were saying about making a mistake in knitting and getting up the courage to fix it and try again.
