Hey! It stands up on its own when it’s packed! If you have very few things it might slip down but the weight of an iPad/laptop is enough to help it stand up!

Hello! I’m sorry for the late reply I just saw this. The straps are pretty comfy but they’re a little hard but as you wear the backpack they soften up. The backpack itself is very lightweight. The zipper can be annoying sometimes if you’re in a rush bc it gets stuck on the side of the backpack so I always make sure my zipper is exposed so I can easily open and close it.
